“The tech asked me to go and get it checked with approved local body shop repair. Welll… they checked and told me that no signs of impact and it’s a warranty issue. They sent the report back to lucid on their standard system. But no call back from lucid.”
Wait, stop.
How are they (this local body shop) able to determine what’s covered under Lucid Warranty and don’t have access to the Internal Warranty Book & Guidelines?
(Employee Use Only)
(yes, there is a customer facing version and internal version Legal and Service Managers adhere too). Was this a Lucid Service/body shop on the approved list? or just some random one you were close by too?
"They sent the report back to lucid on their standard system. But no call back from lucid"
Sent what over exactly? and to who & where? ... The Service Manager determines the Warranty Coverage & Repairs In Service, so Lucid CustCare wouldn't need to be involved if you were told "Its Covered" & If "Its Covered" then they would tow the vehicle for free, have it repaired and deliver it back to you.
I'm Confused.
