We've had an interesting experience with Gravity Dream Edition colors, having all three: Aurora Green, Abyss Black, and Stellar White.

Our first Gravity delivered in late June is Aurora Green. Our second one delivered in late September was Abyss Black. When that one got wrecked we replaced it with a Stellar White delivered in mid-December.

The green is absolutely beautiful in any light conditions. We occasionally get compliments on it from friends and passersby. It also stays clean looking even with a bit of road dust and soot on it.

The black was stunning in bright light right after a wash and shine. But the contours of the car were quickly lost as light faded, and it ended up looking sort of like a hulking mass with little detail. And it was an endless task to keep every fingerprint around the door handles from sticking out like a sore thumb. It masked road soot well, but any splatter from light rain if the car already had a bit of dust on it really stood out. None of our friends ever said a word about the color, nor did it draw any compliments or remarks from others.

One evening we parked it with a valet who left it at the curb while we ate on a nearby restaurant patio. I wanted to gauge reaction to it by passersby to see if there seemed to be much brand recognition, as this large entertainment venue is very popular, and this valet stand is a veritable showcase for interesting cars. (We even saw a Rolls Spectre EV parked there recently.) The Gravity didn't catch a second glance from anyone. This was in contrast to the time we did the same thing right after our early Air Dream Edition was introduced. People gathered around the Air, they were photographed standing by it, and it even got poked and prodded by a few folks.

Our experience with the white color has been the opposite. The car is beautiful in the flesh, with its contours standing out particularly well at night. Friends have gushed over it. The PPF installers said they liked it better than the black or the green they had wrapped a few months earlier, and they said other customers asked them about it. When we drove into the parking lot to pick it up, the receptionist came out as we were looking the car over to tell us how much better she liked it than the black one. Last night as we were getting out of it at a restaurant a guy in a Ferrari called out from across the lot to ask if that was the new Lucid. When we said yes he shouted back, "beautiful!".

The white is remarkably easy to keep clean. We had out-of-town friends arriving earlier this week, and I was pondering whether to wash it before they got here. As far as I and my partner could tell it looked perfectly clean. I finally decided to hit it with an Optimum Opti-Clean wipe down. The cloths ended up black with road soot that had been absolutely undetectable on the car. And it never shows a fingerprint. We picked our friends up at the airport in the green Gravity. When they saw the white one in our garage, they both said, "wow!". Then, almost as an afterthought, one of them added, "the green one looks nice, too."

Excellent post! I would have gotten Stellar White if I had read this post first. Lucid needs all the free advertising it can get.

Thank you, I just ordered a Stellar White GGT!

I am biased because I own a Dream Edition Performance in Eureka Gold which was a limited edition paint choice. So my preference for the Gravity (if I were buying one) would have to be the Supernova Bronze Metallic. My Dream is almost four years old and I still constantly receive compliments from passersby on my color, especially from those who are familiar with the Lucid brand but not with the limited edition Eureka Gold paint.

Maybe I've been around too many building job sites, but white also strikes me as the color of work vans and trucks.
For the Air, its shape makes that less of an issue, but Gravity is boxier, and so white remains my least favorite color for Gravity.

About the only thing worse than white cars for me is the "champagne" color that was so popular in the 1990s.

Having intended to buy only two Gravities, white was our choice for neither. That's why our first two were Aurora Green and Abyss Black.

The reason I bought the white one was that I wanted to replace our wrecked black Dream Edition with another Dream Edition, which I feared had already been taken out of production. As I had already become frustrated with the difficulty of keeping the black one clean and we already had a green Dream Edition, there was nothing left to do but buy a white one which happened to be still at the factory.

I was actually surprised with how great it looked when we went to take delivery. And I was further surprised with how much more positive response it got from observers than the black one or even the green one, which was the real point of my post.

There is very little risk of anyone thinking it's a work van or truck.

I went with the stealth trim and onyx wheels this time - only the bottom half of the vehicle is white.

Gravity looks good in all the available colors.

I’d like to see even more colors.

Titanium Silver would be my personal pick of the current offerings.

Here’s hoping midsize is an opportunity to offer some colors that are a bit more “fun.”

I get that limited production warrants limited color options. But midsize should be a high volume enough vehicle to give Lucid the opportunity to stretch a bit. Certainly they could do better than Green, Brown, or Choose-a-value-along-the-grayscale-slider.

Definitely want to see some variation of Zenith Red or Fathom Blue come back.

I don’t particularly like any of the colors, so if/when I get a Gravity (I have exactly one year left on my iX lease) that’s one less choice I’ll have to make. Hoping for new colors this year.
