My Warranty expires in November also. I looked at XCare at a cost of around $5,000 (3 year, 36K miles, $500 dedudtible, 8000 mi/year). Seemed kind of fair considering all of the electronics that can get pricey. They have A+ BBB rating. Unlike
@hmp10, I use heated & massage every time I get in the car, so risk there. I downloaded their coverage. Seems it is managed by Endurance. One real suprise is they limit coverage to the Value of car as stated by JD Powers (it bumped me over to Edmunds). That value of
my 2022 Air Grand Touring with 29,000 miles, $7K of wrap, sun shields, mats, charging accessories etc. is only $23,710! Really makes it hard to pay the 5K and assume max I ever MAY receive is $18K above my cost before breakeven.
I dunno, I think I'll roll the bones on this one.
