UX 3.0 Update

Personally I considered the cccv2 AND 2.11 as a major upgrade. As such I would treat it as if we were starting from scratch.
I’ve spent too much time writing both sw & hw tests to become complacent with large changes.
I’ve also spent a bit of time supporting systems and again I treated this as a major change and yes it’s a d.1+ version but it’s also new hw that is finally getting exercised.

But that’s me and I’m not having any issues at all. For now I’m simply getting used to the new interface.

My sentiments exactly. cccv2 upgraded made everything faster and this new interface is even faster and it has been very smooth for me. It's working much better in general than the previous version of software so I'm very happy.

How can I get my iPhone to remain connected? It says "Vehicle Offline." it does not re-connect until I use my key card or FOB to enter the car. Then it connects while I am in the car. When I leave the car, it disconnects again.

You’ll have to call customer service

Try a factory reset. Took ~5 minutes and you can stay in the car. Set/confirm your preferences before (your profile ) and reconfirm after the reset (nothing is suppose to move) you'll find the new owner page asking to create your profile then re-confirm your setting while going through te process. The shitty part is redo the infotainment setting like radio station, audio setup, Sirius etc, but Imo it worth it.
Are you suggesting a reset because you were having similar issues and the reset fixed it?

After 18 months of more or less hassle free updates and only minor software issues this one is not agreeing with my car at all.

So far I've had:
  • Pilot panel and right cockpit panel resets on getting in the car and also while driving
  • Pilot panel and right cockpit panel just being blank for a while (once there was a tiny message about connecting to the phone?)
  • Often changes to my wife's profile even when she isn't home (and she never uses the car) which makes it hard to get into the car
  • Changes to guest profile (and won't let change to my profile without a reboot)
  • Loss of all sound from the radio/Carplay etc, and button press sounds (blinkers and safety sounds still worked)
  • Loss of all physical HVAC and audio controls
  • Loss of the cameras
  • Loss of just FM/AM radio
I'm sure I've forgotten few of the weird and random things that happen. Hard reboots seem to fix it for a short while, but so far it hasn't fixed anything for long. I miss being able to do a faster hard reboot with the air logo. Its not fun to either stop a drive to reset or just drive in silence. I've had to remember how to reverse down tricky driveways without cameras again, its fun! The weird part is the first few days were fine, it started on day 3 or 4 I think. Maybe I need to do a factory reset.

Today after finishing a phone call via bluetooth all the audio sources locked up. Playing from USB the play button failed to work. Same on Tidal, Sirius XM and Tune-in. I could change to any source, but nothing played. Playback controls were frozen.

Seemed to work after a reboot but this is crazy. The software team has been reorganized and there have been some casualties.
I really like the new UI, but I can't take a drive without some nasty surprise.
I would have hoped this release was proof that Lucid is getting its software act together, but this is a holy mess.
I'll report this to Lucid, but gee, especially in terms of the audio system (which sounds much better I must say) the bugs are very bad and very frustrating.

Software quality needs to be a 3 alarm fire for Lucid, and that's clearly not the case with this release.
I've blown 2 demos for people who were interested in taking a serious look at Lucid when the software spectacularly failed. Now they aren't interested in looking at a Lucid. Can't blame them.

I just spent first few hours with my new processor and 3.0 update and found stuff to like--but still trying to figure out other stuff. Not sure if it is a glitch or my user errors.

The good news is that they system seems quicker and more responsive and overall audio has improved with SSP sound.

However, I have phone and Car Play enabled but when I got an incoming phone call the music would not cut-off to allow a conversation

I also have Tidal enabled, but its seems to only be available to access through an icon on Car Play screen.. Can't go directly to the Tidal program on Pilot panel. Also wonder if the Car Play interface interferes with Dolby Atmos tracks because I don't see the Atmos icon on tracks that I know are available with Atmos. The worst glitch so far is that I inadvertently hit the Spotify program and I now cannot get the Spotify sign on screen to disappear... My Pilot panel is stuck on Spotify, which I don't use.

Also, what happened to the soft reset button on the old main screen?

Try the hard reboot. Then select Tidal from the car's connectivity menu.
