Upgraded AC compressors on the Air

Having bought my Air a little over a month ago, and living in South Florida with almost constant 90+ temperatures, the AC in my car can barely cope… I hope the upgraded AC compressor fitted to the 2026 Air is something that can be retrofitted to earlier models!

I doubt it but would be nice. As I mentioned in another thread it's woefully inadequate in the warmer temps and I have a Pure with no glass roof.

I have a Dream Edition Air here in Arizona. The A/C seems more than adequate. I do have PhotoSync window tinting and maybe that’s what makes the difference, especially for the windshield and glass roof.

I don't think they'll be doing any sort of retrofit program. However, it's possible If the compressor needs to be replaced during service for some reason they may replace it with the new design.
