Unresolved Suspension Clunk 5 Months Later

Hi @TakeDuo,

I finally got an update/response from the remote technician I’ve been working with - I’ll attach a screenshot of the reply below. Unfortunately it looks like the suspension clunk is going to be labeled as a normal, which I’m not particularly happy about. Please note that I’m not mad or frustrated directly with the remote technicians because they’ve truly been making an effort to pinpoint the issue. I think this just shows the downside of living far from an actual service center when dealing with a hard to pinpoint issue.

I’m hoping someone higher up in Lucid will take action and investigate further considering many of us are dealing with the same problem. I think my next step is to get an alignment from a nearby shop to see if that fixes the sloppy handling.

Did you try isolate if this happens on left side vs right side only by going over road imperfections with one wheel only? This could be ball joints, sway bar links, control arms. The proper was to diagnose would be to place the car on suspension testing machine. Without driving observe and locate the noise. Use stethoscope to narrow it down. It will be really hard to figure out while driving what's causing this noise.

I can confirm I only hear it coming from the front drivers side.
