Welcome to the Internet in America. When Air Touring, Grand Touring had their options set, people were complaining that they need more options. Now, when Lucid listened and provided, people still complaining about that. Oh Well!

There's no indication that the delivery hold and not being able to place an order right now are related though. What’s annoying is that nothing is posted on the company’s website that new orders have been delayed. I shouldn’t have to come to this forum to find a FB post from the head of IR to learn this information. Instead, I spent 15 min looking for an order button that I swore I saw dozens of times over the last several weeks/months.
My salesperson says they are. I received word last week my inventory car order was on indefinite hold for a 2nd row seat issue. I told him to put it back in inventory and I would go out and order one from the configurator. He said they have removed the ability to place a new order for the same reason. Sounds like this is not a "fix", but a replacement of the 2nd row seat. There's no indication that the delivery hold and not being able to place an order right now are related though.

Then I ordered my wife's first Model X in late 2015, and it was delayed many months for issues with the falcon wing doors. These are "early adopter issues" and are to be expected!
Think of it as Siri with Apple. They say it is coming, but it being delayed is rarely discussed - Public Relations would never approve telling potential customers that there are problems so big they had to stop production.I’m just saying they should note that they are putting the ability to place new custom-built orders on hold. It says available cars or design your own. One of these options no longer exists.
That's why Lucid pays us the ... nevermind.Think of it as Siri with Apple. They say it is coming, but it being delayed is rarely discussed - Public Relations would never approve telling potential customers that there are problems so big they had to stop production.
Besides, that's why forums like this exist - what would we do if we couldn't solve the problems of Lucid ourselves?![]()
That is interesting, another indication the order pause isn’t just or at all seat related. What’s interesting is the Gravity is available to order in other countries.
Maybe, maybe not. The logistics of getting vehicles to other countries is presumably more drawn out, and they may well have decided that pipeline is long enough that they can absorb the delay in delivering to those countries without problems. That is interesting, another indication the order pause isn’t just or at all seat related.
After your post yesterday, I reach out to my salesperson and was given this same information. He's guessing the inventory car we purchased should arrive in Denver from California around March 17-20 (maybe earlier). He was disappointed I saw this online as he wanted to share the "good news" with me first!
