Perhaps but why not do both simultaneously? If I wanted what was in inventory, I would’ve purchased already.

it could also be none of those things, could be a site issue, we don't really know
 
It’s not a site issue. They’ve acknowledged that they’ve paused deliveries to address an issue.

Find out soon I guess.
 
It would make most sense they’ve paused new orders until the 2nd row seat issue is resolved. Perhaps for enough new parts to arrive. They did the same with the HUD component for the tech package last year.

It's not visible to me, but a friend says she can see it. So it's genuine.

Upgraded 2nd row seat to fix squeak 😂. Given how slow they were to get the 26 delivered I’m really surprised the pivot to 27 so soon.

Does anyone remember how long past model year shutdowns have been? I suppose it may depend on inventory levels.
 
My wife is super pissed I didn’t order sooner. Hopefully they open up orders soon for 2027s. Maybe they’ll fix the HUD glare lol.

I was thinking the same about the HUD - it would be a reasonable time frame to fix the optics.
Now I'm wondering what I may be giving up by accepting the upcoming delivery of my 2026 order.

I don't think it's likely to make much difference to the typical investor. The announcement doesn't really change the risk premium that an investor would seek for Lucid one way or the other. An investor might feel like Lucid effectively just said that it was going to be sacrificing some Gravity sales by not taking custom orders, but they might also feel like Lucid is keeping Gravity competitive by being on the verge of announcing a new model year with some hardware improvements.
