They also have a track record of winning just about every automotive award.you're perplexed that Lucid fumbled something easy? Come on. These guys have a track record of failure.
Come on, even you know that’s not true……agree, execution isn’t perfect, but which company is?You’re perplexed that Lucid fumbled something easy? Come on. These guys have a track record of failure.
Not sure if this applies still but when i leased 2 years ago, i ended up flying to chicago from austin and drove her back. Saved 5k back then.Yea I saw that. The challenge is that there are no cars that come even close to what I want. Funny thing is there were two and when I went to do it, they told me each time that they’re gone. I had assumed if I’m talking to a sales person about a car, that they’d hold it for 24 hours so I could get it done. Honestly, this is how I was treated by Tesla and I’m starting to get those vibes from Lucid. I told them I flew from my home to Boston just to see one three years ago (that resulted in gen Air) and seemingly, that has not meant much to them. Maybe I’m just a number now.
If you still need a contact for a sale let me know. I’m looking and was called back immediately. My Air lease is up soon and I am interested in a Gravity. I have communicated that to two sales people at the closest Lucid showroom in Tysons Corner, VA. I have been exceptionally transparent with them and told them along the way my timeline. Every time they've called, I have answered and never given them the runaround, Shared that I will make my decision middle of this week. I have even chosen an available Gravity in their lineup and communicated that to two different sales people. To date, over the last two weeks, they don't return calls, rarely reply to emails and texts, don't call when they promise, and have left me entirely baffled. I feel like they are making me beg them so I can give them my money. All the effort is mine to keep me in their vehicles. This was exactly what Tesla did, which is why I left the brand. I
Potential new buyer here, and that location is doing the exact same thing to me! Has to be the worst sales team in the car business. I left VM with two sales people, got a return call by one, they said that someone else (forgot the name) would call me right back. It's been 10 days since that call. I'm giving one last chance, going online to set up an appt for a test drive, assuming that they will call me the day before to confirm, at which point I'll ask them if they really do have assigned sales people per customer. I am an early adapter to Lucid and leased my Air when it was outrageously priced. You'd think I'd be treated better and I am not sure what to do. Any advice?
I wish I had went with my gut feeling when I went through this same crap-because it doesn't get better. I read that they are base plus commission, but their base got cut in half and everyone is quitting. It makes me wonder, given that they don't get commission like normal sales people, what is their motivation to make the effort to get a sale? Are they particularly well paid? It is it one of those "work just hard enough to not get fired" kind of deals?
