No signs of any other issues for quite some time and it hit me today with two faults together at the same time at 9800 miles. Are these some mechanical issues or they are sensors failing?

It's a real failure. You'll likely need a component (or more than one) replaced. A reset may help you get the car driving again to get it to a safe spot.

Thanks. I called customer care and they arranged a towing but never told me to reset. Anyways now its waiting for someone to have a look at it.

Had same issue - rear drive unit had to be replaced.

Reset did not work for me but I would try it anyway.

Having same issue with used 22 GT 29k miles after 6h drive home from dealer. Waiting for tow but usually a hardware motor swap required? Likelihood of the other motor failing eventually?

If one motor fails it has absolutely zero bearing on the other. Could be the HV battery, the coolant recall, or a list of other things too, depending on if it got its services or not.
