Yea. We almost need to pull out the negative quotes and put them here as they are so few and far between they’re hard to find.

Well, one thing I did find so far, and it relates to my ongoing staggered wheel bug-a-boo. Drake Moschkau said he asked why the wheel sizes were staggered and he, as was Kyle Conner, was told it was a cosmetic "design choice".
 
Con from the Drake Moschkau video: The outside looks too small for the amount of interior space you have. Buyers like to sit up high.
Then we find out he prefers the big boxy looks of the Escalade IQ and R1S.

Reviewer bias toward the traditional suv look is going to come through. Basically, Lucid will get dinged for not following the standard suv approach in outside design despite the interior gains. References to station wagon and minivan look coming through. Fine with me. I like the Audi Avant wagon.

Having listened to Kyle Conner and the Savage Geese guys, I can see why some of you like them. Everyone has to start somewhere. Some of these reviewers are even getting the facts incorrect. Ride height at it's lowest, then in the next photo you see a lower ride height; TFLEV video. Come on.

Despite inaccuracies, I loved the TFLEV video showing the interior comparisons of Gravity, BMW, Escalade, and R1S. And yet, the Gravity is dinged for sitting so low. Reviewer bias aka customer preference.

But you can set it to fit however you want to sit, get in low or medium and sit high. I think 90% of the time it's going to be in high unless on the highway or sporty driving.

Agree, but reviewer does mention that.
When I say "con" I mean the reviewers con, not mine.
 
Finally, something about the gravity that I don't love. back windows now going down and tow hitch requiring dongles. :'(

It’s not a dongle; it’s an option, and it takes no time to attach. We have one in our trunk right now; it lives in the side, and if we ever want to attach it, it only takes a minute or two.

You remove a piece of rubber (three flathead fasteners, use a coin or flathead), attach it, good to go. You don’t even need screws. The receiver has a locking cylinder you turn.

Then when you’re done, takes no time to remove and stow (or leave it up, up to you). It’s a really nice solution.

It’s a device that goes between the car and the hitch mounted accessory. It’s an extra step when installing a bike rack and it screws up the departure angle. The only benefit is aesthetic, it allows the plastic cover to be less visible.
 
One thing worried me a bit. In two of the videos (I should have been taking notes as to which and when) the drivers noted the car was getting about 2.2 miles/kWh. They weren't clear if that was the momentary usage or the usage measured over a certain prior period. However, in one of the shots showing the usage, you could see the speedometer showing 68 mph.

I wonder when Tom Moloughney will do his 70-mph range test and when the 75-mph test comes out from Car & Driver (or is it Edmunds?).

Ah, I usually understand dongle as a connector between “thing” and “thing it’s connecting to,” not simply “thing.”

For example, a USB-C to USB-A dongle, which sits between two devices with otherwise incompatible connectors. I hear it interchangeably used with “adapter.”

This is just the receiver itself, which was my point; I understand you meant between the car and accessory, and not between the car and the hitch receiver, which is just detachable.

The benefits are not only aesthetic though, in that it also has a benefit for aero, and it’s less likely to get damaged if stored. The manual says to store it when not in use 🤷‍♂️

What do you mean by it screwing up the departure angle? Not arguing; just not sure what you mean.
