The 10,000th post on this forum

As you can see in the URL of this post, this is the 9,996th post on this forum (the .9996 shows this). We will likely hit 10k tomorrow, and when we do (wonder which post that will be!), it will be a huge milestone. Thank you to the moderators for making this place the way it is today! I love this place (kinda obvious, lol) and greatly appreciate the fantastic, thoughtful intellectuals that inhabit it, and hopefully, it will only continue to get better. I do wonder when we will hit 100k, especially as Lucids get more and more popular!

I don't think that's quite correct. There have been waaay more than 10k posts. And there aren't 9996 threads either. No idea what the number actually indicates.

Should be the thread counter. The difference is most likely because of deleted thread: they are not accounted into stats but the counter is just monotonically increasing.
