Having owned a couple of other brands over the years, here are some relatively quiet but appreciated software-related behaviors and features that I miss from other makes and models that really helped me feel that "last mile" of polish and execution. I will readily admit that some of these vehicle behaviors are vestigially tied to ICE architectures where 12V battery drain is a concern and may not make technical sense on an EV platform but are nonetheless ingrained as "nice" or "expected" after years of vehicle ownership.
While there are several wishlist threads out there, the aim of this list is to collate ideas from myself and others to further refine the vehicle, and not necessarily introduce new headlining feature updates.
While no software effort is trivial, I believe these features exist in the realm of achievability in the spirit of incrementalism, and many of these things can likely be exposed as user preferences rather than hard changes:

- A perceptible distinction between Ignition I (accessory) and II (on/ready to drive) states
- At night, unlocking the vehicle illuminates light bars, DRLs, taillights etc. but does not illuminate headlamps
- At night, auto headlamps don't turn on until ignition is on
- At night, headlamps that can either be on or off after ignition is off ("coming home" lights - e.g. turn off when driver's door is opened while parked and driver's seatbelt is unbuckled)
- HVAC that can wait to activate until ignition is on (e.g. activation tied to the brake pedal being depressed - mild weather use case; if it's hot/cold I'm definitely using remote climate)
- HUD that remains "dark" until ignition is on
- Mirrors fold with locking but don't unfold until ignition is on
- A dedicated UI button to enable/disable airflow to the 3rd row
- A 2nd row climate screen that can just be on regardless of occupant detection (the screen itself)
- Blind spot monitoring that clearly shows if a vehicle is detected in the instrument cluster, not just in the mirrors or in the HUD, or only while DreamDrive is active (I don't mean the full-blown multi-lane view, it can be simple BSM iconography like the one that is always active in the HUD, but just on the instrument panel)
- Air suspension that behaves in an expected way
- As current, Auto mode defaults to Standard ride height, and lowers at speed for highway efficiency
- If user deselects Auto mode or manually selects Low/Standard/High, the car stays at the selected ride height indefinitely through restart cycles
- If user selects Lowest/Highest and vehicle speed becomes inappropriate for those settings, then change to Low/High as appropriate and maintain the new ride height indefinitely through restart cycles
- Begin adjusting to defined Easy Entry ride height as soon as vehicle shifts to Park
- Enable air suspension to always be able to adjust upwards regardless of door open status
- No more "resetting to factory default" after beginning driving
- More geofencing for "advanced" automation logic
- Location-based ride height - e.g. park Highest always except at home, raise to High in this area with large bumps, park Low at home, etc.
- Wipers alternate between moving up/down slightly about a 1/4 inch within the rest position each time the vehicle is turned off to exercise the rubber in both directions so they don't flatten/deform during periods of disuse
- A 360 camera that is more zoomed out by default so it shows more of the surroundings particularly behind the vehicle (somewhere between the default view and the Unpark view)
- A 360 camera that does not cache imaging in critical areas, causing double vision of parking lines, making it difficult to straighten/center the vehicle in the spot
