Spotify Issues?

Has anyone else had Spotify issues last few weeks? It's very unresponsive, stops playing, won't go to the next selection when advancing from the wheel button, tells me I am signed out on the dash when on the computer screen tells me I am signed in? It doesn't work seamlessly like it has.

With firmware 2.7.0 there seems to be a new version of the Spotify app, but I haven't observed any of these issues.

Have you tried an Air Logo reset? Signing out of Spotify and back in? Sorry for these nonspecific suggestions, hopefully someone else has better ideas.

Hey thank you for this. I have tried both an Air Logo reset and the one where you hold the mic, the X, and put your foot on the brake. I have also logged out of Spotify on the dash and logged back in. Neither solved the problem. I am running Spotify from the dash and not connecting it via bluetooth on my iPhone, if that helps. Really appreciate any help you can give me. I called customer service and they didn't seem to have any advice saying someone from the service team will call me.

Yes I've been having those Spotify issues...mostly it just pauses every 10 seconds or so and I have to keep pressing play ..highly irritating

Exactly - I am having that issue, among others, too. Any idea of a fix?

Do you also have Spotify trying to take over via CarPlay? Sometimes the native Spotify and iOS Spotify will fight if I have the iOS one running...

I get this behaviour occasionally in the Tidal app as well. My wild conspiracy theory is Lucid's bill from their data provider is higher than anticipated and users are having their connections throttled. This happened with Polestar years back when they launched the P2. But take my crazy idea with a large grain of salt, this could also simply be a bug.

I don't think so. When I've had these issues, I check my phone and the Spotify app is not open. But, great question.

Do you share your account with anyone else, like your partner? Spotify will pause your stream if someone else plays a song on a different device. Others on the forum have gotten burnt by this.

I've had a lot of issues with the Spotify integration. I have noticed that there are issues with AA and the built-in Spotify app. The car seems to want to default to the AA app and not built-in. The app keeps stopping when using the built-in. AA version works without any issue.

Same issue with CarPlay after 2.7.0.
Even before 2.7.0, I’ve been having issues with Spotify as OP had stated. The car drives wonderfully but all these little annoyances are driving me nuts.
