I've gotten it but I'm still on 3.2.2. The update to 3.3.1 failed.

Also I noticed that if you have wifi on, and already checked in the app. You need to turn wifi off, close the app, start the app again, then click on Live View. You cannot just turn wifi off and click retry. It won't work for some reason.

Oh its also worth noting the car is on cellular right now, not wifi

wow that did it! Kill app, turn off wifi, start app again. Sorry but how dumb, some app dev needs a lesson on basic testing ;-)

wow thanks for the reply. since you replied on that, were the options to auto open / close Homelink based on GPS location also taken away on purpose? I was hoping this release would allow us to enable those again after the email saying to disable them.

Yes, you can set it to record events like accidents, hard braking and horn honking (user selectable). It will record the prior 30 seconds and the next 30 seconds and store it in the app in the car. You can also hit the "record" button the screen to instantly record anything you want.
 
Phone call audio quality and connectivity is also improved. No echoes heard on the other end (which had been an intermittent issue). That being said, I've only made 1 phone call so far but the phone does seem to show my contacts every time (which it was not doing reliably on the prior update).

1) to say that actually killing the mobile app after turning off wifi and then restarting works to get Live View to work and 2) stating my opinion that having a mobile app work via wifi seems pretty basic. Was that unclear?

Oh I'll have to try this. Every time I've made a call people complain they can't hear me. I resorted to putting my phone on speaker, and driving around holding it up to my face like a scrub.
 
Twice today I came back to car and pilot screen and right side of cockpit screen just stayed black. Couldn’t put it in gear. One time, it finally went into drive but screens stayed dark until I stopped, put it in park, then put in drive again. The other time I had to open door, get out and then get back in.

I think someone else mentioned this issue. This is “new” for me in 3.3.1…

yes it sucks because prior to this it was super stable for those things

Agree. The car wakes quickly in the app now, but I’d rather it wake quickly and work as soon as I get in! Hoping a good night’s sleep clears this one…

It just happened to me. I thought it was something due to putting in the USB 2.0 drive
 
I don’t have a usb drive in.

I’d rather have fewer bugs and no Halo secure or record. Don’t need new features yet, just more stability.

I don’t want to sound ungrateful for the OTA, but it will be tough to wait 30 days for another OTA to address this issue. I am relieved the fob appears fixed, but I think if there are other persistent bugs, now that fob is addressed, it would be great to have a quicker OTA cadence or just focus on stability vs new features. Lack of stability will hurt when reviewers get their hands on it or for less patient buyers. I think few people would complain if Halo, for example, didn’t come out until November or December.

My wife delayed our second GGT because of bugs but wouldn’t really care about missing features. Just one data point for me.

Same issue here. I suspect there will be a bug fix release quickly.
