Software Preview Event, May 21 and 22

Have you ever participated in a beta? It's the same process, a group of people are chosen to be shown something and provide feedback under NDA. Feedback \ Bugs etc are then collected and the software team will work on those items before a general release. At no point in time is the company sharing to the mass audience what's going on in the beta. This is no different. Every company dealing with software handles it this way.

As with all companies, if you're not part of the beta then you find out what changes etc. are coming at the time you receive the OTA to install the software.
Has Lucids communication on software been sufficient for you?

That isn’t the discussion and is off-topic. If you want to discuss that, there are plenty of threads for it; this isn’t one of them.

(Also, no. But I’m glad they’re making progress.)

Has Apple's, or Microsoft's, or Google's, or BMW's, or Ford's communication on unreleased software updates been sufficient for you?
Wait, there practically isn't any... updates just show up when they show up. So, while I understand the frustration with AA specifically, in general, Lucid's communication on software is maybe slightly above average?

Looks like a focus group to review planned product features. IMO this is a hugely positive thing for Lucid owners.

This is my answer as summed up by @borski
guess you're having probs too. borski might need to be taken with a grain of salt given he got the biggest greasy gravity fanboy greaseball ever.

No I'm not, the question was asked to me but can we just put this thing to bed and get the thread back on topic!

apologies, it was indeed posed to you... my bad - it is the very awkward single level quoting of this forum that makes it difficult to discern the original context (for me)

.On topic, it is very cool that Lucid is giving a preview to customers. They seem to be quite focused on San Francisco these days.

Somehow I don’t think I’m the salty one.

That’s gotta be the weirdest insult I’ve ever seen. You definitely need to workshop that one. Have a nice Monday, and get back on topic. Come back when you have something worth posting, because this ain’t that.

As others have mentioned, they’re headquartered in Newark which is in the SF Bay Area. Easier to get locals to go to the HQ office than others who live out of state. As @marqie mentioned, they’ll also do some virtual ones in future so those outside the area can participate also.

Indeed it does make it easier. My apologies, as clearly assembly is easier in NoCal/MidCal and that's the best place to solicit feedback from.
