Significant price drop!

There are only about 5 Tourings available on their website. Do you think they'll offer more this month?

They did this with GTs last year. They show five or six at at a time, but there are more than that in inventory. You can talk to an SA and I bet they could find some configurations not listed for you.

They have plenty of GT and T to sell already made. Those are the ones on sale. They want to use the lines to make Pure in the meantime.

It’s new builds they don’t want to do for now.
Except they sent me an email saying my not yet built Pure will see a price reduction too. I’m not sure what that will be.

Grand Touring priced below grandfather pricing now. See attachment.
The market is speaking. If we had the foresight then we may have waited a year to save the $11,000 and probably a lot of beta problems that we have all endured. I have enjoyed my AGT for ten months and trust that the gremlins that still arise and annoy will hopefully be corrected. Not sure how many AGTs were delivered at the original pricing or above, but the total is not a big number. However, it would be naive to expect any rebate, but at this point, my hope is that at least the service network will rise to the level we deserve and that many of us have experienced with Porsche, Audi, MB, and BMW. Service and software are getting better, but service is still not at the level of the brands mentioned. Existing service staff are very polite and training is improving their performance, but the network must expand--and quickly. Of course, the EA network and software have to improve exponentially, but it is not clear that Lucid has much control over that problem. The really great news is that the AGT is by far the best sedan available for any money and is even better at the new pricing.

Yes. They don't have as many Pures built and laying around. They have a bit of GT and Touring stock. Which is why I mentioned GT and Touring.

not sure how many of us are left, but for those who locked in legacy pricing for one of the trims (i'm AT), "confirmed" their orders back last year before the whole tax credit fiasco, and still haven't taken order...i wonder if it'll be possible to get this new price, pro credit from lucid, AND the federal ev credit...

if so, a fully loaded 2023 GT will be like 110k (125600+9+2900+1500+75-11900-7500)

Did you not get an email about reduced pricing?

i did. im wondering if we'll be able to claim the federal ev credit also if we did the whole "locking in" fiasco from last year
I was locked in from early 2021, but we won’t be able to take the actual federal rebate since the cost of the car still exceeds the maximum limit on pricing under the new guidelines. Of course if Lucid is offering it, that’s a different story. However I wouldn’t bet on it in conjunction with grandfathered pricing. I’d love to be wrong though.

This price increase is really confusing me. To get the pro credit, do you need SSP and DDP? Or just none, as long as it is in inventory?

I will be emailing my advisor soon to get to the root of this. If it is none, that would mean that the pure would be around 65k without any options(seriously doubt thats actually possible).

Also, what happened to the GT-P? It seems like its completely gone?

You need both SSP and DDP on one of the available AT & GT cars to get the offer of $11900 off.

At 83k I think the pure is aligned properly. Tbh the pricing for the entire lineup makes more sense now.
The resale value for my car was hosed before I even bought it with GTs selling the way they were. It would be even more hosed if lucid had to close up shop.

I was a bit pressured to act because of grandfathered pricing and credit expiring though.

My email from Lucid says:

"The cost to take home your new luxury EV Lucid Air is now lower than ever."

Since I have legacy pricing does "lower than ever" mean the price will be below my legacy price?

The $11,900 Pro Credit doesnt get applied when leasing but the $7500 EV credit gets added on lease.

I'm happy for the people buying now. Also I figured Lucid is in financial trouble so they do need to attract more buyers. Not sure how I feel for myself hahaha! I mean I still own an OG first batch signed Pure but my resale value is significantly less now. On the bright side, I suppose I should set my mind on keeping my Pure now instead of going back and forth thinking of selling it.
Why did you think of selling? Its a fabulous car!

I thought the same thing when I saw my email and I assume yes. I’m suspecting a price drop for grandfathered reservations on the Pure to be $3,000-$5,000. It’s just a wild ass guess based on the new numbers.
