I never use the honk or flash buttons. I would love to have climate and charge port door buttons!

Question for current app users, just to satisfy my curiosity really:

If we added a Climate button and a Charge Port Door button, would you find it useful?
More useful than the existing honk-horn and flash-lights buttons?

There's a tradeoff between functionality and simplicity. I like the way that the app's current UI is so straightforward that it doesn't need to scroll. But maybe it isn't optimal for many?

The climate button might be useful. On the Gravity the Charge Port Door is not electronically controlled like it is on the AIr. So while the Charge Port Door button might be useful on the Air it is useless on the Gravity

Not sure how complicated it would be, but maybe make it configurable to change the buttons for what is useful each person? Or maybe the app have a tile instead where you can add the extra buttons for whatever people may want to add and leave the app screen static.

I think there's an argument here for 'single' versus 'multi' action buttons. IMO, the additional ones you mentioned are not something most people will want right away so having it be a tile or another screen makes more sense to me. In my head, think of the Workout feature. It has multiple screens but it's all embedded within the app. So you can swipe to the right to get whatever additional features you add, but the first screen is 100% static.
