Does anybody know if the newer retrofitted motor mounts will be available to Lucid Air owners with previous generations to eliminate the whining noise?
While I've grown accustomed to the whine on my '22 GT and it only bothers me a little, it would be nice to have a quieter cabin.

I might be in the very small minority here...but I don't mind the motor whine one bit...and dare I say may even appreciate it...the first time I heard it my neurons associated that sound to TRON and since then whenever I hear that sound it feels to me like my warp drives are powering up ..dunno..I would actually feel that not hearing that motor feedback would be a somewhat bad thing...which is why it is so hard to make a car that pleases everyone..!

I find it fun around town, though occasionally intrusive for longer drives. Anyway, only an issue for us early adopters.

I would definitely be willing to pay for new motor mounts that eliminate or greatly reduce the whine. I'm think 2-2.5k but I tend to underestimate what things cost these days.

For what it's worth... I asked the Scottsdale Service Center about this in early January. Shortly thereafter, I was told that they had looked into my question, and found that cars built before 4/15/24 are not eligible for updated parts. I wouldn't take it as gospel, but that's what I was told.

Don't the cars made after 4/24 already have the updated motor mounts?

Personally, I’m sad the Gravity has less motor noise. I really like it in my Air. @Tesla2Lucid will throw fisticuffs about this lol, but I think you’ll find varying opinions on it.

Clearly Lucid thinks quieter is better. I disagree. :p

Probably. I am just reporting what I was told, but it seems logical that would be the case.

So for them to say "cars built before 4/15/24 are not eligible for updated parts.," it just means a polite No (in a circuitous way) to the poor souls paying full MSRP for the earlies models.

I can hear @Tesla2Lucid saying “it’s not a feature!!”
