Recent loss of range

I used to drive between SF and LA a long time ago. It was the only time I got a ticket going over 100 mph. The roads between these cities are straight and boring.

If your wife is doing 90 mph or more, then yes, your total range will be much lower.

always good to have service check it out. Good luck.

If on longer journey all that matters is miles/kWh on trip gauge
4.6 is 100% range
< 4.6 is less than 516 miles on fully charged pack
Anything near 4.0 yields close to 400 real miles assuming your comfortable driving down to 10%

2022-2024 GT has a 112kw battery.
2025 has 118kw.

n reality, there's nothing wrong with the car. If a driver is disciplined and patient enough to learn the art of "hypermilers," the EPA number can be beaten too.
Hypermiling sounds like a load of fun in the article…

Proud owner of ‘23 GT with lifetime efficiency of 3.1 and enjoying every minute of the driving!

Are those with newer models with heat pumps seeing better ranges during colder weather?

That's the nature of range: 516 miles can be easily achievable on a treadmill or by a hypermiler but if drivers just want to actually enjoy driving then there is the cost of loss of range.

Agree. I just enjoy the drive and if the car needs more charging because of loss of range as presented in this thread, just do it!

The EPA test cycle changed in 2024 (it’s harder now) so the 2025 AGT with a 118kWh battery has a range of 512 (4.34mi/kWh)…but this appears to be a far more realistic range than the pre-2025 models with a 112kWh pack and no heat pump…
