Range w/heater?

Repeated short winter trips are always going to have the worst efficiency. A lot of energy goes into bringing the car and battery up to operating temperature.

Weirdly enough I don’t see a large effect on Teslas with winter driving. Whether you drive it in the cold, or you drive it on a perfect day, it doesn’t vary much. For my old Model S…Maybe 3.0 miles/kw in cold short trip driving and 3.3 or 3.4 in perfect conditions. Whereas my Lucid gets a similar 3.0 in poor driving conditions but can see 4.0 if the conditions are perfect and slow sub 70mph cruising (with 20s). My normal driving is short and local, so it bums me out that I get the same efficiency in both cars. I think I would appreciate the Lucid’s range more if I did a lot of roadtripping.
