I wasn't aware of these specific threads. Thank you

edit: I just realized that you just created them!

I just created a spreadsheet comparing the Touring to Pure and these are the differences I see (cross-posted):

Touring has access to Glass Canopy, Pure doesn't
Touring comes with 20" wheels by default with access to 19" or 21", Pure can only get 19" or 20"
Touring comes with leather (including leather wrapped steering wheel) but can be had with purelux if you want
Touring has Stealth Look available (but not for original reservations holders per the forums)
Touring has soft close doors
Touring has heated wipers (no mention on Pure so assume they just aren't heated)
Touring has Rear and Side Window power sunshades
Touring has power frunk open/close
Touring has ventilated front seats
Touring has standard dual motor AWD, Pure can get dual motor AWD
Touring definitely has access to DD Pro and Surreal Sound Pro (Pure appears to per the configurator but those aren't specifically listed in the itemization)

You said that the touring has powered rear and side sunshades, does that mean the pure will have sunshades in general, but you just have to put them up manually? And I know Lucid has to make differences between its models, but it's a little disappointing that they don't have soft close doors in a 90k car, and it looks worse imo when a 40-45k model 3 has it.

I currently have soft close doors and it is a nice to have and I will have to retrain myself on closing doors if I don't but for me...it is not a big deal.

Model 3 has soft close doors now? That’s news to me. My 2020 model does not.

I don’t even think Model S has soft close doors.

I definitely agree it's not a big deal at all, and not much of a difference either, but just the thought of a 90k car not having it when cheaper cars do is just a bit irritating.

For some of the items, I was going on lack of an entry to determine if it has the feature. For sunshades there was no mention of them on the Pure at all.

My cousin's 2019 model 3 has soft close
My guess is that was an aftermarket addition. There are several kits you can purchase and install. Tesla does not offer this option.

My 2021 MSLR ”refreshed” does not have soft close doors.
This is my second MS.
As far as I’m aware, soft close has never been a Tesla option.
Really missed that ease.
Looking forward to my AGT, hopefully soon!

With the rapid inflation, a $90k car today is like last year’s $70k car 😣
I think all cars being purchased post price hike and during high inflation are going to be an issue if we see the Tesla approach being followed. They rise prices based on demand \ parts and drop them when things ease up. Are we going to see all the car prices come down when battery prices get back down to pre-covid, pre-Russia\Ukraine? If so, the $90K Pure could go back down to $80K. This isn't just a Lucid issue it's an issue across the whole industry where you could take a bigger loss on the car when selling \ trading in 3 years etc.

Or is $90K going to be the new norm and Lucid takes a nice chunk or profit when battery resource costs etc. ease up?

In this economy? Press x for doubt.

I think it'd be more realistic to expect a new model like the M3 or MY that goes up to 80k before expecting the Air price to drop down back to 80k
