I am perplexed by the lack of communication from Lucid regarding my friend’s request for a test drive. My friend lives in Minnesota, and the nearest Lucid store is in Chicago. She contacted the Lucid sales department in Newark, California, and they suggested a test drive in Denver since she had to fly to Denver on a business trip.
Upon her arrival in Denver, she attempted to contact the sales department, but received no response from the sales office or the Lucid Store in Denver, after leaving multiple messages. I attempted to contact the sales department on her behalf, but was also met with voicemail. Despite leaving several voicemails, I have yet to receive any response from Lucid.
I have also contacted the customer service department, but their response was that the issue was not their responsibility and that she should try calling again.
This situation raises concerns about Lucid’s customer service practices. It is concerning that a potential customer is willing to purchase a product but is unable to obtain a test drive or communicate with the sales department. While I’ve had positive experiences with Lucid’s customer service in Miami, this incident suggests that the problem might not be widespread, but rather limited to certain areas of the company. This is an unacceptable approach to business management, especially for a nascent company.
