OTA Update 2.7.0

I think I read somewhere that the OTA was starting to go out tomorrow. Can anyone confirm or deny that?
mine came today. Updated and working...but not life changing
I got mine this afternoon. I updated but haven't been in car since update. Just wa t everyone to know the rollout started
works fine...but not life-changing. Easy to use Google maps and Amazon Music, my default music app. Also nice to ask my questions to Google instead of Luvid...Google occasionally knows the answer.

I think they should go with the original layout and design philosophy where some of the controls where on the right. They moved the right controls to the far left because some people complained they could not reach them easily. After moving them, they realized the steering wheel was blocking them on the left and decided to move all the information to the right, creating 30% wasted space (relative to CP/AA window size) that could be used for CP or AA:

I like the idea to expand the useful space for AA. Using AA makes it harder to select different media types native to Lucid such as radio, XM, and Tidal. Using soft buttons in the unused areas for programmable buttons or last/favorite media would help to alleviate this.

Also it was said that AA/Carplay couldn't be shown on the pilot panel due to them being required to be shown around the line of sight.

Guess that explains why the designers/developers decided to overhaul the glass cockpit layout in Gravity...
Steering wheel not blocking the screen + place the frequently used buttons within the driver's reach to minimize the distraction while driving.

That being said.... As for Air, I still think the pilot panel would be a better location for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Below screenshot is Ford Mach E's AA in action.

Pilot panel on Air is positioned much lower than this though. Having to interact there is much harder than what it’s today.

I'm updating our phones to Android 16 now. Hope it doesn't cause any surprises with Android Auto.

For me the button position on the pilot panel is much easier to press and navigate. Buttons on the cockpit panel always feels like I'm reaching for them. Wished the media and navigation buttons were also available on the pilot panel.

Enabling two finger swiping left and right to access the various screens however would be much easier than pushing buttons though.

somehow phone WI-FI is turned on when you start AA. Has anyone else noted that?
Wireless AA functions through a 5GHz WiFi connection to the car.

After installing the new update I can only get the middle widget on my iPhone. I tried rebooting my phone and uninstalling and reinstalling the widget. Anyone else have this issue? Any fixes?

I updated this morning just before leaving on a couple day trip - what could go wrong? :-)

Iphone user so can't say much about AA, but so far efficiency seems better (got 4.5 driving from San Carlos to Tiburon, our first stopover - that's better and I did not see much improvement from the previous update that was supposed to help efficiency) and the mobile key seems to work better.

It will obviously take a few more data points to draw a conclusion if these things are actually better, but so far it's been positive and the sky has not fallen yet.

I just applied this update to my Air and my phone (Pixel 9 Fold) would not connect, make sure to hard reboot the car then delete your phone and readd it to get android auto working.

For mine (Pixel 8) I just went to bluetooth settings and saw it was still connected as phone and audio, but now there was the little AA symbol grayed out. When I tapped it, it connected right away.

I saw the same greyed out AA but mine would just not connect, but I have been getting false alerts from my car app that multiple windows are open.

I've had issues getting AA to start up with my Pixel 9 pro xl. At least half the time, AA does not start and pressing the AA symbol in the car just results in a long wait with no action.
So far, resetting the infotainment has enabled a quick connection, as has just turning the car's Bluetooth off and back on.
I haven't tried a wired connection yet but likely will for long trips, as navigation runs the battery down pretty quickly.

Yea it’s lower… but aren’t we all used to seeing and interacting with the lower pilot panel functionalities to control seat, massage, navigation, setting, etc while driving at this point? 😉

Navigation turn-by-turn from AA is incorporated into the cockpit glass… so I personally don’t see myself constantly looking down to modify or view AA.
Maximizing the screen size could be a larger map display and other widgets of AA…

Anyhow, for now… it just doesn’t flow well with the aesthetic of Lucid UI… at least from my eye…

It depends on your phone's background. I changed the wallpaper and it switched to that color.

In the Settings menu of your AA, you can switch ON/OFF Phone Wallpaper...if you switch OFF the background turns Blue for me.

Still unable to find how to switch the background to BLACK so AA can blind in. I thought maybe switch a different color of Ambien Light Themes...however, that has NO effect on the AA Background.

My Carlinkit Dongle had more settings to change the background color to make the AA blind in more. However, without the Carlinkit Dongle the only background setting you can do is either project your phone's wallpaper or not.

Does anyone know how to change the background color to BLACK???
