If you check your finance page, Lucid has announced the availability of release 2.7 which provides among other things, Android Auto. Please see the press release; https://finance.yahoo.com/news/android-auto-compatibility-now-available-130000322.html. I suspect it will be a week or so for all owners to get the update. I can't wait. This has been gnawing at me since I bought my car on 12/31/22.

After 255 days of no new Feature release, I find this as a very underwelheming response. For those who don't need AA, there is not much on this other than some bug fixes. Their Feature releases are getting longer and longer, so I dont expect another major feature release for another 6-7 months. Not the customer experience I expected when there are so many key features lacking in the car requested by customers who have paid premium for these cars.

I would be happy with the current features and no bugs. I've learned to temper my expectations

Although I can understand that you might not be very excited about this OTA update, make no mistake about it... This is a very important one for Lucid and for the thousands of us who have been waiting years for this. Not every update is going to have features that you or anyone else have been clamoring for. But that doesn't make it less significant for the people who do want those features.

This is very important to me because I have been waiting 2 1/2 years. And it's important for Lucid to finally make good on their word that AA was coming. Some of us were questioning if it would ever happen. It's happening and I don't think it justifies anyone minimizing the importance of this OTA update.

I wouldn't draw any conclusions from the last six months. If anything, devs may have spent that time preparing UX3.0 for the Air. We just don't know.
