Anyone on 2.8.5 who has received the 2.8.16?

The correct word is "brake" not "break".
 
After upgrade lost the ability to control volume. Did Air reset and lost numeric values on the odometers and distance traveled but volume control came back. Air reset a second time and numeric values came back but android auto wouldn't start up. Walked away for 15min to let the car reboot. Have driven about 200mi on the new update over the past couple of days since I did the resets and everything is back to as it was before the update.

I can't say enough good things about Marcello. He's been fantastic. One time he came and dropped off a loaner at my house and drove my car to Natick, and when he got there, he called me to let me know he identified an issue with the steering wheel that they were going to fix for me. I didn't even realize I had a problem, but once I got the car back, the steering feel was much, much nicer.

So it’s my stop mode setting, right above the creep setting that changed. I guess I’m the only one! Weird but manageable!

It does now that I switched the setting back. You had to hold the brake down in order to sit still.

Experienced collision warning disabled notification/warning..one or two days later the installation. Did the air reset.... warning remained for about 10 min even after the reset. It eventually went away.
haven't experienced any other issues since then.
 
based on the reduced amount of activity on this update versus the last ones, i think i'm going to assume it's a relatively safe one to make? I've been holding off waiting for the comments hehe

That miles per kWh is a one time unicorn result due to battery being warmed up via the software update. The next day I got a stinking 2.85 Miles per kWh over a 80 mile trip which is Significantly worse then my usual 3.15 average lately. What's worse is Proximity UNLOCK. Proximity LOCK is fine and works reliably.

The Proximity UNLOCK is regressing to failure levels experienced pre 2.8.5, 2.8.7, or 2.8.9. It is back to the age where I have to take the phone manually out of my pocket and open the APP if needed. You also need to allow background location to always on the iOS Lucid App or it will drain 2-3 miles overnight due to location query in which will result with a no-ack from your phone. This will cause the Lucid App to query your location 80 times over the night.

Precise location (and background location, as a corollary) has always been required. Your proximity unlock issues seem coincidental. Have you let the car sleep?

But more importantly: please don’t post the sky is falling unless the sky is actually falling, heh.

I’ve had it for a little while with no issues.
 
I"ve never felt the Lucid Air software was "buggy" until 2.8.16.

I updated few days ago,but never really drove more than a few miles from my house until today. Today I drove from SF Bay Area to LA Here are my 3 biggest complaints:
1- Android Auto crashes more than it used to.
2- Super laggy. This was never a problem for me until like 2.8.5 or maybe the previous release. I've had two appointments to get the $1k upgraded computer, but in both cases when my appointment came around, they didn't have one to install. So, I've given up for now. I'm annoyed by this.
3- But by far the biggest problem has been hands free drive assist. Every 60 seconds it tells me it can't detect my face, tells me to take control, then disengages unless I jerk the wheel to let it know who's boss. Sometimes this cycles starts because I scratched my nose (my hand covered my face), or maybe I glanced to the left or right rear view mirror. But it also complained that the camera was blocked. Mind, the steering when and seat have been in the same position for 30k miles now. I eventually turned off hands free assist and just used plain vanilla lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control. It made for a far less stressful drive than fighting with hands free assist.

Fix this shit.

I have 2023 AGT and feel like things have been getting less stable in the past few months (screen blackouts, random error messages that subsequently disappear, etc). This is a pure guess here, but is this perhaps because they are slowly migrating towards Gravity software? Some of these issues are consistent with what I've been seeing on the Gravity issues page.
 
After a moment’s contemplation, I updated to 2.8.16 last Friday, the night before a 500 mile trip to central PA for a family wedding. I originally planned a 20 min top off charge in Bedford before hopping on the turnpike to return home. However, I was alarmed at how fast my SOC dropped on the way out there. Granted, it was into a moderate headwind and increased altitude, but I had serious concerns about not making it to my planned charging spot. Options are few and far between in that neck of the woods. Settled on a quick boost charge in Altoona, unfortunately at an EA station. Naturally, it took changing chargers twice to finally initiate a charge. Brand new chargers too. Arriving at Bedford, I had 30 miles left. It was 140 miles to home so I charged to 300 miles of range to be safe. Arrived home with 70 miles left. Something definitely seems off with mileage since the update. Also, hands free worked fine in the way out, but could not initiate either hands free or cruise control on the way back until I did an Air reset at a rest stop on the turnpike.

This comment raises an interesting (at least to me) question. It suggests that Lucid may have the 'eyes-on' sensitivity set higher for Hands-Free Drive Assist than it does for Hands-On Drive Assist. I never thought that was the case. I have only used Hands-Free Drive Assist for a few miles since 2.8.16, and it did force me to take control, but the sun was low in the sky at the time, and I've noticed that Drive Assist doesn't like that. Is it possible that some conditions just happened to change at the same time that you switched hands-free off, or that you took off those dark sunglasses in your profile image?

Wishful thinking on my part, as I'm about to hit the road.
