Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Touring

I was surprised by the exclusion of Mojave interior in the first wave. I guess that’s a less popular choice and of course it’s the color I want.

I did save a config. ages ago, but would like to review and make sure it's consistent with the specifications on the initial Touring run Lucid mentions. All I have is my "View order", which only takes me to the invoice. I do have one in the "Saved designs", but it's not one I ordered, rather one I built to play around with various options. If I try to change that saved design or build a new one, it asks me if I want to reserve. I must be missing the place where I can adjust my ordered Touring.

You're not missing it, it's not there. Most of us configured and then when we ordered to secure the tax credit in August, the generic version showed up.

The era of Touring on Lucid Owners has begun. The GT folks have had their day. Now it's our turn to take over. A good day, indeed.

With the news that Dream Drive Pro orders will take precedence over Dream Drive, I have added a column for Dream Drive Pro in the tracker. If folks want to update us as to whether they will be including that option, it would be much appreciated. You may have already told us, but since we didn't have the column at the time, I may have missed it.

Just adding that I ordered DDP as well, my other configuration details are already in the list. Ohhhh the excitement is palpable!!!!

My reservation does include Dream Drive and you can update my data

I of course am not able to review my reserved car. Wont load. Was considering going with Tahoe rather than Mohave. Scottsdale office says its a known glitch but there doesnt seem to be a plan to fix it. The DA's can remind you of what you might have reserved or confirmed for the attempt at the tax break.

Please update to add surreal sound and DDPro. They have the two colors I have been mulling over in Scottsdale - Red and Grey. Going to check them out this weekend and go on a second test drive to confirm my configuration.

It's not great UX, to be sure. I, too, lost my original design when I did the "confirmation" back in August.

My guess is if your SA is any good, they will reach out to go over your design and make sure everything is good to go. It would really suck if people missed the initial run because they had a config saved that was just for experimentation. But because you can't be sure of that, might as well do what we can with this odd web site.

I too lost my old design when I confirmed it in August. Mine was fully loaded Pure 19" wheels. It defaulted to the base pure with nothing. So, I created what I wanted and saved that design to let them know my intent.

Based on what my SA told me what we saved doesn't really matter. They will invite based on when you reserved it. Then you will be allowed to configure any way you want and that will decide when you go in production. Example: Ordering Stealth will delay you to 1st-2nd quarter of 2023 even if you were first in line.

Did your SA say anything about DreamDrive vs DreamDrive Pro?

The era of Touring on Lucid Owners has begun. The GT folks have had their day. Now it's our turn to take over. A good day, indeed.

With the news that Dream Drive Pro orders will take precedence over Dream Drive, I have added a column for Dream Drive Pro in the tracker. If folks want to update us as to whether they will be including that option, it would be much appreciated. You may have already told us, but since we didn't have the column at the time, I may have missed it.

I'll be selecting Dream Drive Pro.

thats the 20" aero lite wheels, which was made available in Q3, to the cars being produced at that time, which was the AGTs

Based on what my SA told me what we saved doesn't really matter. They will invite based on when you reserved it. Then you will be allowed to configure any way you want and that will decide when you go in production. Example: Ordering Stealth will delay you to 1st-2nd quarter of 2023 even if you were first in line.

The Costa Mesa studio manager told me the same. You are offered order based on your reservation date. You confirm your order with your selected options. Your production is further prioritized by options or color selected.
