Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Touring

It's definitely useful for me, as I live more than 40 miles (75 minutes minimum) from the Goose Island service center, and would like to have a rough idea of when the car is coming in. I just talked to my DA, who said production is complete (dashboard still says in production), and car is still in factory. I realize there are a lot more cars out there now, and am truly appreciative of the work being done to maintain the spreadsheet.

Reserved November 2021. Got my VIN assign on January 7th. Dashboard shows “in production”. Quantum Grey, Mojave Interior, 20” Aero Lite Wheels, and Glass Canopy Roof. Planned delivery to Design Center in Denver.

I've dropped a note to my DA asking for information on Mojave and metal. Will update if I hear anything.

No news. Heard back today from my DA; he's awaiting an official announcement of a production start date for this configuration. He had told me in December that he would contact me in January with any update; January's not quite half over, so I still need to wait.

Had a Pure order at first that was confirmed pre-price hike; went into the Studio and was offered the option upgrade to a Touring. I gave them my desired config and it turns out there is one in Chicago! (Silver / Santa Cruz / DDP / SSP). I was offered the DDP/SSP at upfront discounted pricing pre-price hike, or I could have it taken off the sticker price as well in lieu of a 90-day free trial. I ended up taking it and my delivery should be sometime later this week as soon as I get the financials figured out! Super excited to join the Touring family.

My VIN was assigned today. IB/Mohave. When would be the best time to apply for credit union financing? Should I wait a little longer or apply now? Most places seem to give a interest rate lock of 30 days.

looks like it's taking 3 to 4 weeks from VIN to delivery according to the last few delivery posts. Where you live, weather and how backed up your delivery center is could impact that timeline.

Dashboard changed from "In Production" to "Preparing for Delivery" when it arrived at the Milbrae Service Center. PDI & Detailing began on 14 Jan 23. Very excited & hoping for delivery by the end of the week.

No, to our knowledge all cars currently being produced have both, but if you don't pay for it they'll revert to non-Pro functionality after a 90 day free trial.

6 weeks with a VIN and still "in production" so your timeframe may vary .

Just got word that my car (glad/SSP/no DDP) is on a truck en route to house Goose Island. VIN assignment was 12/27. It's likely to arrive the 19th or 20th, and, allowing a couple of days for inspection and cleanup, I'm thinking of taking delivery next Tuesday, 3 years after the refundable deposit.

Update* They actually were able to switch out the rims and tires. And on top, I confirmed after the price hike to $107,500.. They lowered my MSRP to pre price hike of $95,000 ... Thats a $12,500 decrease on top of the $2000 decrease for the wheels.. Saving $14,5000.. I was informed that the car is in Short Hills and awaiting for me to pick up.
