Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

It went the way of most threads at some point. However, this one is worth recovering, as you're the only one here who is giving any in-depth insight on what driving a Gravity is like.

A few more questions:

I assume you're driving on the 22/23" wheels with the new Pirelli P Zero PZ5s? I've seen the videos on handling dynamics, but what's your take on ride compliance?
They don’t feel like SUV tires. Very very planted. I have yet to figure out how to make them squeal from pain.

Any semi-controlled measures of real-world highway efficiency against EPA range?
As you know, we’re not that family, haha. I can tell you the range has been very good, and I keep charging to 100% thinking “today’s the day” and coming home with like 40% lol after a day of driving. We haven’t gone on a big multi-charge road trip with it yet, due to various timing things.

Is the A/C output really as beefed up over the Air as claimed?
Yes. It gets very cold.

Do you know if the HUD will be functional when "regular customer" deliveries start?
No idea. I assume so. I believe it is functional in some of the other deliveries by now (again, we’re not on the absolute latest version of software).

I'm thinking about having our Gravity delivered directly to the shop that will put the PPF on it. Lucid has agreed to do that but warned that I will then miss getting set-up assistance upon delivery and will have to bring the car in to a service center later for that. What will already be set up on the car when it comes off the truck? Will it already be linked to my mobile app? Will the EA and Supercharger "plug & charge" functionality already be set up?
I have absolutely no idea about the delivery process. You might have noted we weren’t in the original photos for the day-of-release event in December. That’s because ours was delivered a week or two later, as we couldn’t make the event, as my dad had just gotten out of the hospital from liver cancer surgery.

Lucid graciously decided to let us have it anyway, despite not being able to make the event (they had moved the date last minute), and so here we are. But our delivery wasn’t “standard,” as a result, so I can’t speak to what will or won’t be pre-setup.

And probably more questions to come . . . .
Bring it on :)

I know - Parker Posey is really great in that!
I never saw the Netflix series.
I'll have to check it out.
Three seasons. Is it really worth my time?

She looks better than the Dr. Smith in the original tv show.

Borski, please share the insurance payment difference between Air and Gravity.

Thank you.

New 'Lost in Space' had me lost. I watched almost 2 seasons and then was approaching a lost status. Entertaining tho. Truth is I am not really a TV person unlike my wife.

Next question, @borski . . .

Do you know if the Gravity cameras are set up to record as dash cams?

Sorry, I haven’t been ignoring this because of a lack of desire to respond; I just don’t have an answer. In general, if you (or anyone else) has asked a question multiple times, it’s not that I’ve missed it, but that I don’t have anything useful to say.

Because of the way this agreement is structured, I haven’t actually had to insure the Gravity explicitly yet through my insurance, so I simply don’t have an answer to that. Long story, but I’ll have an answer to this once we receive our DE.

I can tell you the software tells me to stick in a USB key for Halo Secure, and I have formatted and dutifully put a USB key in, but there is no option in our software to activate it. I suspect this is a “we’re on old software” thing, and I’m going to play with the API to see if I can get it to turn on anyway 😈 but I haven’t yet.

I just have one data point to add. I already did the insurance quote from USAA. I am looking at a little over $700/6 months for full coverage insurance (Utah). My mother-in-law has insurance from State Farm and pays $1800/6 months in socal for her Tesla 3.

Interesting, GEICO wants to add around 4k/year on top of my Aviator. Hoping it’s just a glitch. Rivian R1S is about same cost as the Lincoln.

Appreciate the response, I wasn’t going to guess that. Definitely beats silence!
