One problem solved - DDPro finally calibrated today and I am very impressed with the hands free driving versus my BMW and recent experience with Tesla and Rivian. Of course no point-to-point yet, but honestly not sure how often I’d use that.

I hear what you’re saying. It’s unfortunate that you didn’t know it didn’t have a receiver going into it.
I don’t have those same frustrations as I don’t use Sirius XM (and don’t use Spotify w/ ads, I guess), but it’s fair that if Sirius XM is an important feature to you, Lucid does not support it as well as other vehicles that have a receiver.
You could always add a receiver.
The key is not necessarily the receiver, but the integration of the app with the steering wheel controls. For example, I think with Rivian, they only have the app, but the steering wheel controls will let you change channels through the favorites you setup in the app. It behaves like skipping through FM presets on a radio.
Does anyone know if you setup favorites in the SXM app, will the steering wheel control move through the favorites like FM presets?
As far as I have been able to figure out, not it does not, which is frustrating. Also, while I’m good with the HUD and it’s quirks for the primary purpose, the HUD won’t let me see what media I’m scrolling through like in my BMW iX.
An add-on antenna and receiver isn't really a consideration, especially in luxury car like this. It would look ugly and wouldn't be a clean, integrated interface.
It's not that I'm married to SXM, it's that the car's connectivity is subpar making streaming frustrating. That's what integrated SXM (w/antenna) offers - a dependable way to get extensive live audio content without streaming. If the car's connectivity were good, all this would be moot. We could use any of the included streaming services then (including SXM). But the connectivity frequently cutting in an out undercuts the only audio content services this car includes (other than FM). It all stems from the subpar connectivity.
But again, thank goodness for Android Auto. It (mostly) overcame the connectivity shortcomings. Of course, it would be better if the native system actually worked dependably so we could use the built-in streaming apps without frequent drops. Hopefully Lucid has a fix in the works (since other posters report it's not the AT&T network but rather the Gravity's poor receiver?), but I don't hold out a lot of hope for that.
Yeah, it seems to only do NEXT TRACK, not NEXT CHANNEL. It's been a few months since I used the integrated SXM interface in the car (back when it let us log in with an existing streaming account), and IIRC the steering wheel button would only do NEXT TRACK on that too.
Be nice if they added an option in settings to configure that button for the choice of NEXT TRACK or NEXT CHANNEL. And do the same for the joker buttons too.
Completely randomly, last night my steering wheel restored itself along with the seat once the break peddle was pressed. This happened correctly exactly twice before going back to malfunctioning and not restoring correctly.
So, I've discovered another issue and it's a bit more significant. I picked up the car on a sunny day and never would have noticed. Went to use the rear wiper and noticed it had no effect in clearing the water on the windshield. Checked it out and realized that the wiper had absolutely no pressure holdinging the wiper blade to the window, with the wiper arm swinging freely. Feeling behind the wiper arm, there is a spring there but I can't tell if it's attached at both ends. Has anyone come across this issue? Wil Lucid send mobile service to deal with this? First appointment at the Plainview, New York service center isn't until September.

I was using mine in today's rain here on LI and it worked well. Might be an issue with the springs in yours. Mixed experiences with Plainview though...
An update...
It appears the problem with my Gravity Spotify app freezing on ads may have been fixed (3.6.0?). Just wrapped up a 2700 mile road trip thru CO/UT/NV/WY. Started out running it through AA like usual because the native Spotify app in the car was always freezing, and because of bad car connectivity around home. But halfway through the trip I decided to try the car's Spotify app again. No more freezing on ads! Also, connectivity was way better (that probably wasn't from an update, it's probably more poor service near my home).
The result is that I was actually able to use the car's Spotify app for hours at a time without interruption! (Until I hit a dead zone in a remote area that was bad for all cell service, which is unavoidable). That's a first!
For road trips, the car's native streaming suddenly became a lot more usable.
