(Random pic because why not)

Had lucid install the new CCCU in my ride. 24 hours later here’s what I’ve noticed:
- everything is faster. Boot up, unlock, map rendering, etc.
- app connects and executes actions faster

I endorse it wholeheartedly

Before you get too excited, it didn't do anything for my app connection or unlocking...😅
It does reset quicker and mapping is faster/ better.
 
Just upgraded mine from the San Diego Service Center yesterday.
  1. Snappier / faster
  2. Had to re-connect homelink garage
  3. Had to re-link Tidal
    1. album graphic didn't show up / Air-logo reset solved and brought back the album graphic
    2. noticed Tidal started to play a song automatically from the first track/playlist even though I always press pause before i leave the car
      1. SW reset also showed music start to play automatically
      2. un-linked the account and re-linked the account to see if this resolves the problem
        1. issue remains to be seen
  4. Android Auto fail to connect
    1. After clearing the phone's cache, complete disconnect/forget of the device, and turning off the Air's bluetooth, it finally got connected/
 
I upgraded my 23 AT last month. Boot up is much quicker. Screen is more responsive. However, there is no improvement in unlocking speed for me. I don't regret doing the upgrade because I want to be ready for UX 3.0
 
I also have the upgrade, but we should all remember that this is an infotainment upgrade and has absolutely nothing to do with locking and unlocking. Any perception that locking and unlocking are improved or faster is more wishful thinking.
 
i did mine a month ago. Things are a little snappier, however, every now and then it flickers. Drown 3 hours to using Hands-free which worked amazing, but was distracted by the infrequent flickers. More noticeable at night.

Any suggestions. I've rebooted phones, logo reset, profile swapped, logo reset. No luck

What is flickering?
 
The screen either shakes up and down a little or there is a red flash or bottom 1/3 gets like static. It's very short lived and happens every 10 min or so but rather annoying, never had issues prior to upgrade

Components have either gone bad or were somehow damaged from the swap. Warranty item.

I'm guessing that a connector wasn't fully inserted into the new CCCV2. Or less likely, the CCCV2 is defective. Get service to have a look. Mobile tech can do it.

Loose harness maybe

It's not physically a big deal to install - the CCC is located behind some interior trim above the glovebox. I think there might be some technician time required for loading software and making sure everything is working properly after the brain swap. You'll need re-create user profiles, check every menu setting etc. Well worth it IMO.

Best to call your nearest service location and ask.
