Proud new Lucid AT Owner
My Mazda Miata needed a friend (and twin) in the garage  (if only she knew I’m considering trading her in because of my Lucid…lol). I didn’t think any car could be more fun to drive and more of a “drivers car” then my Miata ND3. Boy has Lucid proven me wrong with the adaptive dampers, chassis balance, and motor calibration and tuning. I’m looking forward to many, many blissful daily commute and NorCal coastal + mountain road miles. *Coming out of a Volvo XC60..Don’t ask lol.

I got my 2022 GT in April so it’s been nearly 3 years behind the wheel for me. I still love the car and it still beats anything else I’ve driven. When I get in it, I can either lounge and cruise, or point and shoot through traffic, and it just does whatever I ask. In fact the car’s capabilities saved me from an accident a few days ago when someone ran a stop sign from my right as I was going through the intersection, it gave me the cross alert and I yanked the wheel to the left and accelerated into a left turn down the cross street and narrowly avoided the car coming from my right. He definitely wasn’t able to stop in time but it didn’t matter, I was in total control. The Lucid is a just serious machine. I think it’s funny BMW is all excited about their Neu Klasse cars which are still inferior to Lucid in pretty much all ways except for maybe software.

Welcome!!! Yeah, the Air is a really special car. Drives like an absolute dream!
thank you @Blue Lectroid - I read many of your posts as well as rest of this amazing owners community posts in my pre-purchase research. Once my concierge @ the Lucid experience center in SF told me “the car is yours for the next 1hr” and I test drove the car around the mountain roads in NorCal, its was over. They had me! 😅

Your points are why I am considering my Miata might be surplus to requirements

I’m glad you love the car. They are really special!!

I feel you. Even though the Lucid is superior in every way to just about every Dino car, there’s something to be said about the feel of a small car and manual shifting. The majority of owners here have owned something similar and the nostalgia is a warm, comforting feeling. Here’s my old girl, still going strong at nearly 240,000 miles…

The Miata is my favorite car after the lotus Elise. The Air is my favorite *useful* car 🤣

Everyone should own a roadster at some point in their life journey.

*sighs* Cosmo one ups me again 😂
Great pics of beautiful cars!
I sometimes think about getting a Jag F-Type or Alpha Romero 4C but I know I'll be nonplussed since I got the Air first...

Congrats on the new car! Hopefully it will be your favorite on the road as well :)
