I just posted a YouTube video on my semi-annual trip between Southern California and Washington State. Before leaving I installed the 2.6.16 update and found the Dream Drive Pro is much improved and working on many of the back roads that were unavailable on past trips. I did find that the shadows of the semi-trucks seemed to cause false braking when I was overtaking them, but overall big improvements.

I also became a true believer in A Better Route Planner - ABRP and used it exclusively on the trip. Each trip teaches me new things and this trip was no exception.

Great report. I have not yet made the jump from my Model 3 to the Lucid but I am very familiar with ABRP from my Model 3 road trips. In addition to ABRP, if you input your final destination on the car navigation, does it automatically calculate your suggested charging stops / locations and how long to spend at each location before moving on to the next? If it does, how closely do you find it mimics the ABRP suggestions? Thx

ABRP does let you set how often to stop. I had mine set to "Quickest Arrival", but I added addition stops that were not in the plan. The key thing I found (and the data confirmed it), is that keeping my charging limit below 60% saves time on the trip. More frequent stops for shorter charging cycles is a better plan.

It does, but it doesn't give you a bunch of parameters to tune like ABRP, nor does it give you recent reviews of fast chargers like Plugshare. I'd still use those two tools before a trip at this point, because while the Lucid nav will get you there on a good day, it's good to be aware of your backup options so you don't end up at a broken charger in the middle of nowhere.
