More phantom breaking in the last month or so ...

Get used to it. If you’re not prepared to put up with this then stay away from the likes of Lucid, Tesla & Rivian. These cars are so software driven, bugs will always exist.
Agreed. I sort of knew this but I bit the bullet anyway. I have good days and bad days. Today is a bad one.

Not to be dismissive of it either, it can be certainly frustrating for sure. It’s just the reality we have to accept with this high tech/highly software driven cars. The only thing we can hope for as Lucid continues to grow is that in future, the bug fixes / updates are a little more speedier than what they have been of late.

Since the last update before the Android Auto one, I am having a lot of phantom breaking. Not the throw-you-through-the-windshield type, but it taps the breaks a lot. It happens maybe 30% of the time when I am overtaking a truck that is on the right. It also happens - not as much - with non-trucks, and it seems it's always when the other car is in the lane to my right. I don't have any error for LIDAR or cams. The other vehicle doesn't venture in my lane, or doesn't even ride the divider. It's happening regardless if the road winds or it's straight.

Is it just my luck or is anyone else having the same issue lately?
Just finished a drive to NorCal and back to SD in my AGT. I also experienced this exact problem constantly when I was on the I5. Overtaking a vehicle (usually a truck but not always) while on the Drive Assist cruise control and the car would break. No car ahead of me that would cause it. Never happened before this trip, but they really have to fix the software. This is a safety hazard that could result in someone rear ending you when the car unexpectedly breaks. The cruise control is almost unusable if this is happening.

Hopefully Lucid reads this and gets a fix in. The perennial problem tho is that every fix breaks something else - without fail, like a Swiss clockwork.

It did it again, 3 times yesterday, while cruising on 405 from SD to LA. One time, it actually SLAMMED the breaks. This is crossing from annoyance into safety-issue territory now. I didn't think to note down the time but I will start doing that.
