"Lucid Ramping up Deliveries"

Apparently, news was an investment firm interviewed PIF about Lucid and they were staying very strong staunch supporters in the face of all the haters who are desperate to jump on the EVs are in decline narrative (basically a limited to Tesla, Rivian and MB problem in US).

you're limiting the scope of this to just ADAS, and I'm saying there is so much more that Tesla is well positioned for, my position has more than doubled since I got in, and I believe it will keep climbing. You can debate the why and what they do, but at the end of the day, more people are buying their cars than Lucids, they have more diversified portfolio of BU's they can earn business from and quicker than Lucid. Does Lucid make a better car? Debatable; would I trade misaligned panels for a more functional UI? Most def, but regardless of what you or I think, the market is showing they want Tesla stock and cars more than Lucid.

But I will take one of those lollipop's....
More people buy Hondas too.

Air, and soon Gravity, are outpacing Model S / Model X sales, so no, the market is not showing they want Tesla's cars more than Lucid's. Tesla stock has been operating in fantasy land for the past few years, so don't think comparing the two on that front makes sense, especially considering where each company stands in its lifecycle.

again the convo is limited to cars, and I'm saying there is more diversification with various BU's in Tesla

Seems to be some real Tesla haters in these parts….. not sure if it’s bitterness that Lucid hasn’t lived up to expectations over the last five years or just EDS in general. I mean, the guy barely owns over 10% of the company.

OMG I'd never drive a tesla :)

Model Y has been 1-2 the best selling car in the world three of the last four years. Let’s not get delusional here. I own both stocks so I keep the reality check. Just for reference
Tesla sold 1.7 million cars 2025
Lucid 16K

I’ve been fortunate enough to make about 10 different purchases with LCID made some great $ money when it was a spac…. Sold at peak
Made on eight of the 10 entries however currently I’m down some $

Exact same boat, I bought in on the SPAC, and sold 60% at $55, so I'm def in the black, so I'm just letting what's left ride because it doesn't matter if it goes in the ground or if it can grab on, maybe a second upside in a few years. But I'll never buy another car considering my first experience with them.

Couldn’t possibly be that Teslas simply aren’t great cars compared to the competition that exists today as compared to the non-existent competition of their heyday.

Nah, that would be impossible.

Doesn’t drive as good as the LUCID GT for sure however the software is still significantly better overall. It just works.

based on what metric? Tesla sells more cars in a weekend than Lucid does all year.
Based on literally that metric: “Model S / Model X sales”

(It’s true, look it up. We’re not talking about 3/Y here, as that’s a totally different price category and thus not comparable)

Tesla increasingly grouped S/X (and Cybertruck/Semi) into an "other models" category, making exact figures harder to track, but indicating low volumes (e.g., under 50k globally in 2024).

I’m glad you like it.

FWIW, when I dropped my GGT off at the SC in Chicago, walked by the two inventory lots and saw a good number of Gravities. Just checked website and 29 are available, pretty good range of options. But 8 are the big wheel sets. Why you'd ship a vehicle with summer only tires to Chicago on spec is beyond me. Technically you shouldn't even be driving them off the lot for the next couple of months.
