Big Fun at the Arizona Event today. Perfect weather. It was also Employee Family Day at the AMP-1 facility, so I think there were over 5,000 people there. They introduced us owners (around 75 cars) to the crowd, and then CEO Pete Rawlinson spoke to everyone. He was even doing one of the demonstrations on the factory tour. Impressive! Many thanks to everyone who put this event together.

Absolutely! It was great to meet everyone and the folks at Lucid did a fine job making us feel welcome. They fielded all kinds of questions and seeing the Gravity prototype was a nice bonus!

Wait, what? How was the rest of the factory trip(unless there is some kind of nda)?

Sounds like a GREAT trip though! Sincerely hope this can continue as lucid grows.. absolutely did not expect Rawlinson himself to be there!

Maybe for customer cars! Drive down in front of AMP-1…there are hundreds.

It was interesting. We spent quite a while in there and saw different assembly areas. We walked past the various elevators and motorized lines that move things from place to place and got some details of how components work. Peter Rawlinson, in particular, taught us about the design of the front crumple zones. The tour groups were led by people who work in the factory, so it was fun to hear the specifics of what their jobs are like.

And that rally looks HUGELY scenic with great driving roads! Or maybe I’m just not used to that being from the NE, but it looks like a ton of fun and a great route!

Got invited last night and took my dirty Sapphire. Fun Tim and fun meeting everyone.. I was the only Sapphire on the tour but Peter showed up in one when we were almost at the plant. was fun meeting the guy behind the car that gives me the giggles. The 3 million square foot expansion is amazing. I think they went from one assembly line to 8. Peter let us get up close to the Gravity. Amazing car. I plan on buying more stock. Had llunch with a nice worker named Corzzel. never met a Corzzel before. Maybe I did a couple launches….
