I get your point. But my old boss (who is now 21st on the Forbes "world's richest" list) used to interview people for very senior jobs with Scotch tape wrapped around his shoe to keep the sole from flapping. The business world can be an odd place.

Actually watched the whole thing.
You looked good, sans tie.
And national platform, no less.
The closest I got was for Time International to publish an excerpt of my letter to the editors.
2 things: Not sure the other guest, Alex, knew how to pronounce your last name.
Is Yahoo mail now safe for the mass?

That’s only kinda what I do. An aside these days but a simple explanation. I work in aggregation and distribution of it. And I buy most of my clothes at Costco or Bonobos, and I buy one of each color if possible, once a year or so. I look basically the same every day.

Oh! And long sleeve Bylt shirts. I’ve been through ten of them now. When the inside logo starts to fade off I throw it away and order another one.

Your sport coat looked fine!

My happiest / proudest PR moment was a quote in the Economist. But search hard enough and you’ll find plenty of me on TV. Some of it is embarrassing.

Congrats, but I'm more impressed with how you chose eating venues in Phoenix.
I'm supposed to be on some Who's Who in 2025 but have yet to see the actual publication.
I guess that thing and $5 will get me a Starbuck coffee.

And he was still active in his research in his 90s
 
While I don't think the new CEO is a good fit for the company I also recognize that he might have been the best choice from a very limited pool. I doubt that there was a line of talented executives wanting the job.

Yeah I wasn't implying his research that he did in his 90s was what got him the Nobel Prize, it's that he was still so sharp in his 90s that he could continue doing research as a whole

I have been asked my times to do an interview and I keep refusing because I know people will just find any reason to mock you and I do not have time for that. I prefer to save my energy running my business and staying away from social media and marketing drama. at the end of the day, investors and shareholders care about actions and returns, not how you look. just make sure you dress appropriately
