Lucid Investor Day - March 12, 2026

It would be cool if they show a promotional video of midsize during the event then release it on social media like they’ve done for the air & gravity. However I’d expect they’ll do a future promotional event at the factory unveiling the vehicle for reviewers to look at in person.
 
Seems to me that detailing the mid-size to investors is one thing, but why potentially mitigate Air and Gravity demand by overplaying the mid-size so far ahead of product (and service volume) availability?

Would a person in the market for a 120k Gravity luxury SUV really be swayed by a $50k crossover though? I doubt it. Feels like two different segments.

No, but a person looking at a lower end Air might. And people don't realize that a $50k vehicle will quickly get well north of $50k.
 
Rivian's R2 pricing was apparently leaked, and they are stopping the lowest R1S trim to reduce overlap/cannibalization. In Lucid's case, there is really nothing like the Air, unless people are really cross shopping a 50K mid-size crossover with a full-size luxury sedan.

since yesterday, i am glad to be a member in this great community. May be i will switch from Tesla to Lucid. Lets see. Acutally i cant enrole to todays investors day. Could you or somebody help me? I did follow the link and already confirmed my eMail. Greetings, Markus

Kind of funny that "Lucid AI Assistant" is described as coming in 2026. A tacit admission that the current SoundHound-powered AI assistant doesn't work?

Also, for the MY 2028 Air features - if they are truly only for MY 2028+ cars, that suggests there will be a CCCv3 coming in 2027?
 
They better figure out how to get MUCH more dependable internet in the Gravity before they attempt video streaming. It can't even handle consistent audio streaming yet. I get so tired of it cutting in and out (since they failed to include an integrated SXM antenna).

I'm guessing it'll be wifi based like Tesla is. I seriously doubt they'd give all of that bandwidth away for free
 
It never fails - doing a live demo of software to a large audience is asking for trouble.
The Lucid Assistant demo failed due to poor connectivity, so they resorted to a recorded video. :)
 
Hands free highway and city driving is listed for both 2026 and 27?
 
Hopefully, it keeps getting regular updates, better and better, ongoing.
That's the only way they'll ever get close to Level 4 autonomy.

Ironic. That's one of my biggest complaints with my Gravity.

That or you pay extra for a higher quality of service from whatever cell carrier they're using.
