I get your point, however automobiles are subject to continuous improvements. A Chevy equinox or Suburban produced at the beginning of the model year is not the same vehicle produced at the end of the same model year. Changes are always being made and none of them are offered to previous customers. EV buyers are spoiled because we see CCV2 upgrades offered to keep the hardware up to date, we have OTA updates to features and functions.
Lucid may work harder at making the existing antenna better, but they zero responsibility to retrofit cars with new hardware. Maybe we'll see a shark fin on 2027 models. That is just progress, not a trick. They learned something and fix it for the future.
I remember the 60's, when every car looked completely new every year, making the prior year look old and out of date. Hell, Apple puts "new" processors in their phones every year. Easy to upgrade - buy a new one.
