The company struggled with quality issues when Gravity production started last year, and the new recall shows it's not out of the woods yet.

Saw this today. Unfortunate that a supplier did this to them. Below is the NHTSA info:

Seat Belts Mail Fail to Properly Restrain Passengers/FMVSS 207, 210
An insufficient weld may prevent the seat belt from properly restraining a passenger, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

NHSTA says: “The recall population consists of all customer vehicles manufactured before February 14, 2026. Vehicles made after that date have seats that have been manufactured to the original weld specification.”

You can check the inner door sill plate for the manufacture date/month.

Good plan, if it was that urgent NHSTA would have issued a more dire warning. I personally (based on my own personal thoughts) wouldn’t be too concerned unless you’re putting like a 300 lbs guy in the back and getting into a crash.

300lbs guys are going in the front now until recall, lol.

Haven’t experienced this myself. I think the HUD works, but without AR is a little lack luster than what they showed us in NY when releasing it. Maybe I’ll have to borrow @HC_79 ’s… purely scientific reasons.

Customer service says I'm affected (11/2025 build). My vehicle is currently in the body shop with service being coordinated for immediately when it comes out in a few weeks, so hopefuly they'll be ready with my inspection and fix if necessary by that time.
