I do have the handling package. Still a bit surprised that the ride isn't smoother, floatier. It's good, but I'd give it a B+ on smoothness, not an A. The air suspension on our Porsche Macan EV is smoother.

OTOH, the cornering and handling is better in the Gravity. It's good in the Porsche too but in normal suspension mode, it does "jump" outward going over a bump on a curve. I haven't felt anything like that in the Gravity. Rock solid on cornering.

I bit the bullet and went out and got new prescription sunglasses (non-polarized) just for the Gravity so I could see the HUD. Much better now, and I kinda like it. But I did have to lower the seat more than I normally prefer (to the middle area). However that's kinda needed anyway if you wanna see more out the rearview mirror. This is by far the worst view I've ever had in car out the rearview mirror. The glass is low to begin with, but the wiper section kills any chance of seeing more than a car grill behind you. Although for people that like to sit very low in the seat (not me), it's not as bad.

I haven't driven the Macan EV, but it is on the list for replacement of the Polestar 3. GIven your experience with the two vehicles, would you rather the Porsche had Gravity's suspension or Gravity had Porsche's? You can't have it both ways - which would you choose? Personal question, sorry to clog up the forum...

I'd rather have the Porsche suspension, since daily smoothness means more to me than rare choppy corner handling. But both are still good so it's not a make-or-break on either one. The Macan is just modestly smoother. The Gravity feels the road bumps a bit more. Both handle great, except for that little jump on corner bumps in the Macan. But that's rare, and can be mitigated simply by momentarily switching to sport mode (which jumps less but is less smooth).

About the only time I notice it is mountain roads, like for instance when I drive through Glenwood Canyon (I-70 in Colorado). That road surface is really choppy around many of the curves. But it's not like the little outward jump-skip is awful. Just a little disconcerting to feel, making you wonder if you hit a small patch of ice.

I will say though that the Macan is easier to drive than the Gravity. The visibility out the rear is way better. The accelerator pedal is softer and much better tuned. Regen isn't as strong (I find it a bit too strong in the Gravity, in that you have to be really precise on the stiff acc pedal which takes more effort). The drop out of ACC is way better than the Gravity for finding that smooth speed transition. The HUD works great. The walkaway lock is dead solid perfect and has chirp confirmation. The cruise control stalk is much better to use than the Gravity touchpad. And I know I harp on this a lot, but like most cars, the Macan has an actual SXM antenna so the audio isn't cutting in and out frequently.

The Macan has it's own list of software annoyances too (with zero OTAs yet to fix anything), but not as long as the Gravity, and they dialed in a lot of the routine driving stuff much better.

But the Gravity feels like is has twice the interior and cargo space, even though it's only 9" longer than the Macan.
