Lucid Gravity 3.4.0 software update

Just did another little drive to test the regen. Turned regen off and set ACC for 47 MPH. Disengaged ACC and it still regen'd pretty hard until 35 MPH, where it lets off and actually starts to coast. Bizarre. Repeated it multiple times with the same result. Regen seems to stay on until the car gets below 35.
 
So what’s the verdict with this update? Net positive/net negative? People now feel good about their purchase or regret/want to sell? In reviewing, seems net positive but also new issue with charging.

I am on camp B, but just based on my personal experience so far.
 
Has anyone not gotten the update. Purchased January 20. Not sure if that makes a difference.

I just put 1200 miles on it this past weekend. Damn near zero issues. Charges the same on both fast and level 2 charging, nav is both slightly improved and still sucks, only one false alert, no key or access issues, no bugs or silliness that I’ve grown accustomed to. A buddy went on this trip with me and he usually drives a Model 3 and this was his first long term experience with Gravity and he thought it was really good. I know some have not gotten the same level of improvement I’ve seen but I think most consider this a pretty big positive step.

Gigantic improvement for me. I drove 200 miles the first Sunday I had the update and encountered no errors. That is the first time I've been able to go that far without errors. The software feels stable now and I'm now optimistic for the future.
 
Had nearly no issues since the previous update and definitely have not had any issues since the latest update. Only thing is when I use the lucid app to adjust climate the walk up unlock doesn’t seem to function and I have to use the key fob to unlock the doors. Odd but minor issue.
 
For the very first time I had the black screens getting into the car today even with 3.4.1 installed. Parked to unload some stuff and when I went to get back in it wouldn't wake up. Took the key out of the area for a few minutes and returned to the car and then everything was fine.
 
Updated last week before leaving on a week long vacation. The only regression is that there is massive latency now with the key fob. I have to push lock or unlock many times before the car will actually lock/unlock. Service center is going to take a look next week.

I have replaced the key fob battery and rebooted the car and no improvement.

I have found that ACC ignores regen settings, which is appropriate. I would hate ACC to use brakes instead of regen to maintain speed every time it needs to slow down a little.

It takes time for regen to fully disengage; it’s not a function of speed. You must give the system time to fully disengage regen after turning off ACC or regen.

Why it would take time for regen to disengage? If that's true then ACC is always gonna have that annoying trait of a harsh jerk when disengaging if we don't get the pedal speed matched immediately. That would be disappointing.
 
Here's an odd one... my ambient door lighting seems to be on even when the car is parked. The last 2 times I opened the door to my garage tonight, I saw the inside door strip on before I got close enough to the car where it woke up and unlocked. Now I'm watching it on my garage Ring camera and see the glow of the ambient light still on half an hour later. Seems to be stuck on.

Update here. The blind spot cameras mysteriously worked this morning and all errors disappeared. My hypothesis, a sensor got condensation from the morning cold (32F) to warm temp change, and that sensor is on a critical path to determine whether software blind spot cameras work or not. When the sensor dried up in warmer temp the next day, it fixed itself.

So it's not related to this software version update. But if you experience this edge case, driving without the cameras, your car may fight every lane change to auto-steer back to your original lane too.

I'm sure this will be marked a P2 bug and bounced between hardware and software backlogs unresolved. Hope nobody experiences this.

Sometimes my Air just stays on for no reason. I thinks the driver door is open. It’s not, but.
 
I find it amazing how many issues seem to be fixed overnight, with a deep sleep. I don't know if people are checking in a half hour, or 10 minutes or they just happen to close the garage door and don't check again until they have reason to go out to the car in the morning but, like me, the vehicle seems to benefit from a good night's sleep. Wait until AI in the car has a bad night and tells you about how it had to keep waking up during the night to adjust the charging cable...
 
Well, my car has been in the SC, so the update hasn't been applied yet and I haven't been driving it. I should get it back later this week, just in time to take the grandkids up north skiing for a week. That will be my initial test of the update - 250 miles away from home, with a 10 year old and 12 year old and a wife who watched me live through 4 months of excruciating pain with initial software on a Polestar 3. I'm an optimist, so plan on success - but, wish I still cocktailed - I'll need a stiff one if it breaks on this trip.

So far so good. Quicker startup, seemingly less glitchy. I am satisfied so far. Though I have been lucky and haven’t had many sw issues.
