Since my Dec 26 Gravity pick up, my fob has also been very reliable. It still appears from posts here on the forum that it has not be good for everyone.

Most of those kinds of features are in the “minimum viable” stage in my opinion

Update: Was very relieved that when I left my office tonight and the GGT woke up when I got about two feet from it and the fob functioned normally on the drive home and locked normally when I got out and walked away.
It (the OG battery delivered in the fob) has also been flawless for me since I took delivery on Mar 22nd except for this morning. Power cycling the fob by popping out the battery for a few seconds is something I would not have thought to do had I not read the long "bugs" thread on this forum. Thanks again for all those that share their experiences on here.

Also, @Adnillien is quite correct that coming ADAS features are not directly related to or reliant on fob issues and I probably shouldn't get caught up in all the poo-pooing
and doubt-casting. It's just the pent up worry that my blissful 1st couple weeks of very few problems with this car may come to an abrupt end at any moment.

Truth be told: I am thoroughly enjoying my vehicle so far and am blown away at how well it handles and how lightning quick it is when you get on the pedal. I often felt comforted by the ability to "get the heck outta trouble" by using rapid acceleration riding a Harley in the past and definitely have that feeling back with the Gravity.

How useful is a chime when the light turns green? If you're too absorbed with your phone to notice, then someone behind you will probably tap their horn. And if no one is behind you, then does it really matter?

I'd assumed that red light detection is more of a safety feature that would try to warn you when you're about to run a red light. And maybe a stepping stone towards more autonomous driving.
 
I don't know... How many times has your Wife/Girlfriend whispered in your ear 'Hey Honey, the light's green... you can go now...'

Very useful. I have ADHD. Forget the phone, I'm liable to be talking to someone in my car.

Of course, it's rare, but it's like once every year or every other year that I'll be the idiot standing at a green light.

It must have been designed by the same guy who designed the Bronx River Parkway, They were designed for motorcycles !!
 
Never thought the Belt was narrow. Now the upper roadway on the Manhattan bridge, the BQE or the Pulaski Skyway, those seem narrow.

Belt is like a race course. All traffic laws cease to exist.
 
The Belt Parkway when coming down the Verrazano Bridge is probably one of the most narrow roads around here

Took the Whitestone home after purchasing the Air. The Manhattan lanes narrow as you pass the tower.

Oh yes, definitely a gentle whisper, not in any way like "GO! Green light!"
