Took the EV plunge a little early and purchased last week the Hyundai Ioniq 5 in Lucid Blue. It’s probably my transition vehicle to the Touring or maybe more accurately the Gravity. The car has great space, great tech, excellent driving characteristics, and fast charging with 800V architecture. The Limited trim has really multiple luxury features that are surprising for a car in this class and not missing yet my GLS 450 that I sold to get this.
As some may know, this car is very hard to get as it’s pretty hot right now, but was able to get one out of state and took a 1000 mile ‘test’ drive home. 57K MSRP with relatively reasonable 4K markup, as I’ve seen others between 5 to 10K.
Two years of charging free with Electrify America, and I found them to be great Charging experience on my trip home(unlike EVgo).
Overall, highly recommended.
