Fantastic info! I greatly appreciate the feedback and info from @marqie !
I know the question about Atmos on Apple Music (CarPlay) has been asked before and you are actively working on it. I am just curious if there is a bit more detail available as to the priority and timeline in the current work queue? Is this something that is months or years away?

What are Bob and Collin most excited about regarding the upcoming SSPro and Base SS features? Can you provide a peak into some of the cool things besides things already discussed here?

Since I primarily drive alone, I set the balance to be further back and to the right. Every couple days the sound goes back to dead center. As soon as I re-open the Balance settings page I hear it switch back to what I saved. How do we get this to permanently stay where I saved it?
In case it matters, I have Surreal Sound Pro.
Response from Bob: "Sorry to hear this. Please refer to https://lucidowners.com/threads/now-in-session-lucid-audio-experience-ama.11592/post-255852."

And sorry one more question, are there further plans to maximize the cabin gain effect in the Air? I know this is easier to do in SUVs and the angle of the deck lid/rear window in the Air probably makes it tricky but didn’t know if you guys think this is the limit of what can be achieved in the Air for Cabin gain effect or if there’s more that can be squeezed out of it?

And also here’s a complement, my EQ is set to 0,0,0 in the car and I’m happiest at that setting. That is NOT easy to do, even the Bowers & Wilkins system in my other car I’m rolling off some bass and augmenting highs.
Response from Bob: "Yes, we're working on DSC (Dynamic Speed Control) which will affect gain and LF depending on your speed."

Response from Colin: "Gravity SSP system has 2 subwoofers in the rear of the vehicle."
Thanks.
I sat in the Gravity that was at the Miami Studio a couple weeks ago, and the Bass were not great from the front row, even with the EQ Bass set at the max.
Any chance this would be improved in the short term (adding a sub in the front, for example)?

Colin wanted to say "Hey!" too.

I was wondering if there are any future plans to make the base system sound better? My car was MSRP of $135k and although it didn't have the Pro system it should still sound better than my GFs 2023 Dodge Challenger with the Alpine system. I used to be a theatre audio engineer, so I do know a bit about sound. My reference cars are 2022 BMW iX, 2022 Jeep Cherokee 4xe McIntosh system, 2024 BMW XM Bowers & Willkins. I also feel like the SSPro system does not compete with any of these. The highs and mids are just decent enough,. but the lows feel week all around .
I will say the last update helped immensely I am now able to turn the volume all the way to max without the sub trying to eject itself out of the car. Also is there any plans to offer, even at a cost Atmos in the base system as an upgrade?

From @DeaneG who is outside and enjoying a peaceful break from the forum:

What are the main differences between accurate audio and most people's idea of pleasing audio?

... based on your experiences with the highly accurate reproduction test setup vs. customer feedback about what they actually want to hear.

Response from Colin: "We don't have a representative from the CarPlay software team on the AMA so we can't comment, but we will pass your inquiry along."

We are extending the AMA until 12 PT. We appreciate all the questions we have received so far and will do our best to answer as many as we can!
Any thoughts on the option of recalibrating the Atmos to put the driver in the middle of the soundstage?

In addendum to Last ICE, was just curious if you could share the volume control linearity or response? I have not been able to actually use max volume without damaging ears or speakers. I noticed from strange looks the other day as I was driving through a quiet neighborhood that the volume is capable of leaking quite a way outside the car. I usually set it to about 1/4 or 1/3 and this gives very clear music and overcomes all the minor wind and road noise.
Response from Bob: "Ours is a custom volume scale, closer to logarithmic than linear, but tuned to be psychoacoustically pleasing throughout the range."

Tried to get through all the questions just now, but am pressed for time. Forgive me if this has been answered already.

Are there plans to allow playback of hi-res lossless multi-channel files from thumb drives? Support for DSD / MKA / FLAC / ALAC in 5.1 24-bit 96kHz or greater would be amazing, with MKA supporting lossless Dolby Atmos. 🤤🥴

Can you provide a cheat sheet for first time set up that maximizes sound? I only saw 3 options in the equalizer. I have the sound pro version. Thank you.
Response from Bob: "Start with your EQ at 0-0-0. I never vary from this setting in my Air, but then I tuned it so I'm probably biased. :)"
