Lease vs Buy

I gave it a bunch of thought, but the rates and residuals don’t seem favorable. Ended up buying it.
I thought about it, went through the whole process and then decided to buy based on some of the fees and residual.

I vote with the majority on this one. I looked at leasing as a way to hedge against the unlikely event that there was no market for used Lucids when it came time to sell. Tesla had a program in the early days where they guaranteed they would buy the car back at a fixed price after 3 years and I was looking to do something similar. After looking at the lease numbers the premium for leasing compared to buying was simply too high so I went ahead and just bought the car.
