Inconsistent blinker?

Maybe it's those pesky leap seconds sneaking into the rhythm. Clocks are hard.

It's a software thing, for sure. I run into it occasionally, and it does drive me nuts, as I tend to play drums on my steering wheel while waiting at red lights. The poor rhythm throws off my mojo. Like playing in a band with a shitty rhythm section.

My guess is there's some sort of fight on the main thread between updating the UX and playing the sound. Probably fixable, but also probably low priority for the team.
Oh my god I hate you because now I can’t unhear it

They told me nov 15 th they’ll send update , mine does all these problems and they’ve witnessed it and I’ve recorded the issues

Who is “they?”

I will posit that when viewing the blinkers from outside the car, they're perfectly in tempo. The indicators on the dash are a feedback from the blinker state after being translated through a couple of networks, then the display and sound processes for the dash. Since the turn signal dash indicators and sounds are probably a low priority, the timing is non-deterministic. 🤓

Oh, yeah, no doubt. I haven’t tested it, but I have to imagine that them being out of sync might be illegal, even, externally.

Not able to look that up now tho.

This blinker sound being out of sync issue is one of the first things I noticed when I first got my car a few months ago, and it's probably my single biggest quibble with the day-to-day experience of my Air. It happens every few seconds and it's so annoying to me that at stoplights I generally cancel the blinker when I've established the lane.

Again, if this is your biggest quibble, you should be thrilled. I remember the days when the car took well over a minute for any of the displays to come on after entering. Or the blind spot camera took two blinks to turn on.

I AM totally thrilled....I love my GTP! I got in at the right time, one month after buying my car, the 2.4 update came out and highway assist has been so very good for me, and the Homelink improvements too.

I'm OCD too, never knew i had it.
I'm trying to synchronize my eyes blinking with car's blinkers.
Made an appointment with my service advisor and the psychiatrist at the same time. Coordination between two of them could be difficult though.

It hasn’t been fixed for four years!

Noticed this as well. And worse, the blinker sound is hollow and sounds cheap. Surprised Lucid haven't fixed this yet.

Yes they should let us choose a sound and volume since they’re touting themselves as most advanced tech , which they far from . How bout for security like cars since 1980’s to let you choose to unlock drivers door only and not all . Good way to get car jacked to have all unlock

Yeah they should let us make it a fart sound!
