I agree with you. It's probably not something Lucid wants to do since it implies that you'll have software problems. But it's something every owner needs to know. If something stops working, be it a dead panel or music or whatever, knowing how to fix it quickly makes it a minor issue instead of a major one that involves calling customer support. Especially for people not on this forum who wouldn't have an easy place to ask questions and get an answer.I've had my MY25 AirGT for 2 months now and just learned how to reboot too... (SXM connectivity issues...)
I think it would be beneficial for that to be 'shared' as part of the operation & SW review done at delivery when we pick up our vehicles...
(My 2 cents... and constructive criticism...)
Resets are described at https://www.lucidupdates.com/faq.htmlI wonder if there is a thread somewhere on this forum that has a description of each of the kinds of reboot, and the types of issues that are associated with each.
I’m aware of the logo reset, and the steering wheel two buttons and brake reset.
But I’ve also heard tell of a “hard” reset, which involves leaving the car? I have no idea what that involves or what it fixes.
(and recently someone mentioned the TCU reset, which requires mobile service but as quick; again not sure what requires it)
So yeah: has all this been compiled somewhere? Thanks.
This is not even a reset/reboot, it's just the normal sleep procedure. Sometimes it un-breaks small infotainment problems without having to wait for an actual reboot.
Yup. That sleep state is presumably enough to power down the cameras, and the cameras themselves are what are misbehaving. So, this is what's happening with the camera views returning?
I found this link by accident (while looking thru this forum) that shows the different kinds of reboots which are listed here under the section Labelled "Software":I wonder if there is a thread somewhere on this forum that has a description of each of the kinds of reboot, and the types of issues that are associated with each.

There's ALOT of great information for new Lucid owners!
Same with early ‘22 AGT. I’ve found my native navigation has been freezing or not displaying granular details sometimes since 2.5. It’ll just show road lines. Not sweating it. They’ll fix it.I have an early '22 AGT. No soft reboots needed with any update until the current: 2.5.0. Now I'm rebooting about weekly, mainly for the FM radio. The blinker noise was off too, but I didn't care since I don't use them...
