Sharing some in person shots of the Gravity... Me and my family loved it... It's certainly large-ish and makes my wait for the smaller crossover even harder... Very nice presence for sure .. it certainly has a 'pull' .. sorry I had to.. :D

As much as I want to love the Gravity I can’t help but think it looks like a Minivan. The front end is too short and I think part of the reason for the minivan-ish look

That is a great looking vehicle, really sporty and what I was looking for. I am interested in seeing specs and pricing being released.
I thought that pricing around 80k for this has been informally stated by Rawlinson..depending on options im certain it can and will touch 100k

First words out of my wife's mouths after 10 seconds of looking at the Gravity..it looks like a minivan..

It could be like the Air, probably, where you have a single motor version for 80 and you can go up to 150 for the GT models. The question would be what sort of car do you get for what price, and I'm almost certain of the 100K mark. It's just a question of how high of a trim do you get for that 100.

I'm sorry, but that is not an SUV. That is a minivan. The only dif is the sliding doors vs. normal doors.

We own a 2018 Honda Odyssey and have seen the Gravity twice (at the West Palm Beach and the Miami Design Studios). While I think the Odyssey looks okay, it still emits a boxy and massive vibe. The Gravity is lower and much sleeker and does a much better job of masking its size. As soon as I started walking toward the Gravity, I turned to friends who were with me to tell them it reminded me of a bullet train, particularly in the way the roof line looked almost as if it were melting away into the slipstream. Imagine my surprise when a few days later I saw a video in which Derek Jenkins, its chief designer, said bullet trains were its design inspiration.

No, the Gravity does not look like an SUV, and thank goodness for that. I'm sick of seeing these hulking slabs all over the place. Nor does it look like a minivan. It looks like a . . . Gravity.

Who but Lucid could have put the passenger and cargo capacity of a large SUV or a minivan into something so different from either and so attuned to the demands of electric propulsion? The space packaging magic of the Air marches on.

I don’t see minivan at all when I look at Gravity. I also don’t see typical SUV.

Gravity is way too good looking to be either.

This. I think of minivans as relatively slab-sided vehicles, which the Gravity certainly is not. I think the Gravity is just a normal SUV, or a crossover/wagon cross if you will.

@hmp10 and I have previously discussed whether the Gravity fits into any predefined category, and to me, it just seems like a mix of attributes from numerous groups. Wagons (looks, to me; likely driving dynamics), minivans (practicality), SUV (offroading capability.. although not anything like the R1S)... I could go on and on. This is also what Derek said Lucid was aiming for at the unveil, and it certainly does make sense when we look at the vehicle we have today.

I think you will have to be careful with trim, color and the air suspension to counter that look...Bright silver is a bit minivanish but it's going to have to straddle the proportions to give you all that amazing packaging.

I tried to make it out but couldn’t. For the private showing, did they give lucid owners anything cool for coming?
I also didn't make it on time but asked the same question...we didn't get anything but they had removed barriers and were allowed to interact with the car and view software a bit more closely. The marketing guy there was nice and offered me the same access if I scheduled it with him at a later date...
