Hey folks, we have 2 garage doors programmed with Homelink and I've noticed the ordering of door1/door2 is inconsistent and random. Sometimes when pulling in or backing out, one or the other would be on top. Has anyone else seen the same issue?

It is most likely trying to pull up the one you are closest to, because it is trying to geofence, and which one is 'closest' might change if they're right next to each other.

If that's the case, you could fix this by re-programming Homelink for one of the doors (after deleting it) from a further distance from the garage door (since you program it with the remote anyway). I would bet that in that case the order would be consistent.
 
Ya that is a good call, might give it a try. Maybe one day we'll finally get auto open/close :)

Install a smart garage opener and Home Assistant and you can have it today. :)

I experienced this yesterday while driving; the HomeLink display actually changed order back and forth while I was backing out of my garage. In my case, I 'think' it was because I did not have my key fob on me (which I use 100% of the time), and the car was relying only on my phone.
